Great quality, no shedding, holds up

This rug is beautiful! I got the 8' runner for my bathroom and it matches perfectly. I have white marble tile, gray cabinets, faux white and gray marble countertops, and white trim - the light grey/cream color rug fits my color scheme beautifully. I would say the "cream" leans towards a white silvery/gray versus a true cream which can sometimes have an ivory undertone. I've had it for a couple years now and it still looks new. My only complaint is one of the edges was cut slanted. I don't think anyone else would notice so I didn't return it. But the edge is not straight, it was cut on a diagonal. It slides on my tile floor so you'll need something underneath so it stays in place. Doesn't shed.

I needed a refresh in my kitchen and laundry-room after purchasing a suite of black stainless appliances. These rugs are beautiful and hide dirt. They are easy to spot-clean and vacuum on a low-setting. I've had many compliments, and they are holding up well. I do not have pets, so I'm not sure how they'd hold up with them. The larger rug is a bit grayer than the smaller laundryroom rug but I don't mind that at all.

The rug was exactly what I was hoping for.

I’m always hesitant to order a rug without seeing it in person, but this purchase did not disappoint!! I LOVE this rug. I ordered the 10x14 and it fits and looks perfect. It arrived folded but laid down without any issues. It’s not a thick rug but is just enough! I didn’t feel it needed a pad. It was everything I was wanting. So glad I made the purchase!

Pretty rug, check sizes, a bit difficult to vacuum

This is a pretty rug! The dimensions were not exactly as described, (I ordered 8x10 and got 7.5x10), so consider that. The only problem I have is that it is difficult to vacuum, bc I turned off the brush bar, as recommended by rug company. If it weren't for this difficulty, I'd order another!

I like the pattern and the color, but the sizing is off. We ordered one and realized after putting it on top of a 6x9 rug pad that the rug was 2 inches short. We thought this was a mistake; so we returned the rug and received a new one. SAME PROBLEM! We ended up just trimming the rug pad (which was a pain) but the extra 2 inches of rug would have also been more fitting in the room. I guess this rug is actually 5' 10" x 9'.....

Beautiful rug but...

It's a beautiful rug. Made very well with a lovely pattern. My problems with the rug are that it is lighter in color than shown in the picture and the sheen makes the rug look more elegant than I like. These problems would have been noticed if not buying online.

The rug was supposed to be cream and ivory however I received it and it looks fully beige. The photo also appears to have a bit of a high low in the detailing however that is not the case at all, the only difference is the detailing appears shiny and a bit cheap. In no way, shape or form was this rug ever $* and then marked down to the price shown. I paid $* for a 12x9 rug and it looks and feels like i paid under $* for a 12x9 rug:/ Not very pleased with this experience at all.

I brought one two years ago with beige color. Got a lot of praise by visitors as it goes well with my dark wood floors in the living room. This time I got a white creamy color for my dinning area under a walnut wood tables. The color is not very white but grey tone instead which looks a bit dirty. Not sure someone used it and returned or it is the nature of the color tone. Definitely, the beige color looks better.

Light, Bright and Velvety!

I love this rug! It was just what I was hoping for to put under my bed in my master bedroom. The cream and ivory is just beautiful and brightens my room that has wood floors. The texture feels soft and velvety. I’m very pleased and may buy this same rug for other rooms also. My photo does not do it justice. I haven't got it positioned under the bed yet because I need some help to lift the bed.

Size of rug Not as advertised

The rug is beautiful the problem is it is not 8‘ x 8‘ as described. This rug is 7.6“ x 7.6“. This has been a problem previously with this rug manufacturer Safavieh. I have ordered their merchandise also through **** and had the same exact problem with a different style rug. Bed bath and beyond is handling the problem promptly. however be warned that you cannot depend on the measurements you believe you’re purchasing. You should absolutely measure the rug yourself. Seems this rug company must get away with this quite frequently.

Update: I just ordered the matching 6.7 round rug and the quality is now poor. Very sad. I’m so glad I picked this rug, I had been searching overstock for months for a dining room rug. This is ivory and cream and the raised part feels like velvet. I have it on a nice rug pad. I absolutely love it. Shipped quickly too. I think this would be nice in a bedroom too. It was easy to vacuum. I’m hoping the wrinkles go away quickly. Overstock has very fair prices and best place to buy rugs.

Round rug was perfect but color didn’t go

I loved this rug when it arrived but I needed a white rug and the color in the picture online looked much lighter than it actually was. It is ivory but in actuality it is more cream. I hope to see if they have a rug in more of a white to match my bedroom linens. I love the round shape and size. It was a perfect look and feel other than the color.

Ordered beigecream color 9x12 and a round 5” for my foyer. I was so nervous because I didn’t know what to expect as reviews don’t mention exactly which color they’re showing in their pictures. The beigecream is just that. It’s surprisingly soft under foot, and quite nice walking on it with padding underneath. It looks absolutely beautiful and expensive, however if I’m being picky I have to mention what bugs me about it. There are loose threads already showing, so quality is lacking. Also, it looks like it bunches up in different places so would have liked for it to have better structure on the bottom. Also it’s a devil to vacuum. I had to remove the brush in order to get in-between all the crevices.

The pattern in the rug is beautiful. I am having a tough time getting it to flatten or smooth out just like many others posted in their reviews. I was aware this might be an issue but I thought after a few weeks, it would be a non-issue. Nope, still not flat. I think it’s due to how it is packaged and shipped. It was folded in a box. It can also look a little dirty depending on how the light hits it and depending on which way the nap is facing. I knew this might be an issue as per other reviews but didn’t expect to this extent. I don’t think I would recommend this rug. Although, I am giving it 4 stars because the pattern is really pretty. Perhaps it wouldn’t be such as issue in a darker color other than the light gray.

Beautiful low pile; Pattern compliments any decor!

The quality is excellent; low pile, but not thin. Beautiful on dark wood floors. The grey is muted, not dark. There is a variation of tones throughout the rug and the ivory is more of an antique white, not ivory (yellow). The pile is soft on bare feet, but the rug may require a non-slip pad under it, if furniture isn’t holding it in place. The area rug laid flat almost instantly upon unrolling; the edges just needed a slight bend to uncurl from packing. This was a great purchase, sight unseen!

It arrived in a timely manner wrapped in very heavy plastic and has no smell. I ordered the 4x6 and there was no need to weigh it down, no wrinkles, no pulled threads, and no lifted corners. I moved it to a different room and am ordering a different size. This design will look good in any size unlike some larger sized patterns. I read a lot of reviews and zoomed in pictures as much as possible before ordering and so I had no unpleasant surprises. It is thin but that works for me because I have a Roomba that gets stuck under toe kicks if the carpet is high and the other location is by a door with a thick rubber seal so the carpet doesn’t move with the seal when the door opens plus there is no trip factor. I’ve only had it a couple weeks so I can’t say what longevity it has but it’s been vacuumed everyday and looks good so far even with kids and beater brushes in the vacuum. I love the texture created by the different heights of the design in the carpet and brightness of the colors. I have white oak floors (similar to hickory but not yellow like traditional oak) and it looks great on them but it would equally look great on darker floors. It’s not yellow or grey but would go with both color schemes as well. The raised white part of the design is what you see the most but it doesn’t shout out white because there are 3 shades of color in both the raised and the recessed colors. The white threads are white plus 2 beiges in a BRUSHED texture. The recessed pattern is 3 shades of beige WOVEN (not brushed) which helps highlight the raised pattern. I’m not a fan of shiny fabrics and this has a little but it presents itself as bright instead of shiny and only in certain angles as you move around it not all at once. My lights are incandescent and no windows in this room for reference.The design is more formal but because it’s small it feels more monochromatic than forbidden and is inviting to walk on. Our house is casual but I love details in design and this is a pleasant addition. This is my third rug I’ve ordered from this store and am surprisingly happy. I wasn’t paid for this review and I state this for those of you who are like me and are skeptical of the source of reviews yet still depend on them. The toughest decision is the color and we all see it differently but I hope it works for you too. Happy shopping!
