Great hammock pole- quick shopping

Nice pole and quick shipping. I needed a lot of cement to fill the hole as my soil was sandy- but now it will never move! It works great with my hammock

Solid hammock poles. Heavy duty

Works great and feels solid. Should last a long time but I'm curious how it will hold up to being used near salt water. I needed 5 bags of quick set cement for each pole. I'm using 2 poles and I have pavers around them which I feel makes it even stronger. The only issue was the plastic caps they provided. Both were broken so I emailed the company but haven't heard back yet. In the meantime I bought fence post caps and spray painted them to match. I like them much better and it is an easy fit. I'll update if I ever hear back from the company. But even still I gave 5 stars as it means my needs and shipping was fast.

Used this to replace a broken wooden post- very sturdy - can't see this ever breaking. Product arrived in 3 days!

missing instructions

I haven't even gotten to test it yet, as it came with no instructions. I can't find any anywhere online, so now I have a post with no instructions. That's a big bummer.

This works perfectly for what we needed. Attached one side of the hammock to a tree and used this pole for the otherside. It is strong and does not bend. Only problem is it arrived with the black top cap smashed and broken off.

Seems to be good so far

So far no problems with the durability. It was nice that the product came with the extra chain and S hook for hanging your hammock up. The inner pole is removable, which I'm sure is nice for winter storage, but haven't had to use that yet. I'm not sure if I would buy it again though. Here's the reasons why:

After trying to figure out how to hang a hammock without 2 trees, I can upon this in Hayneedle. Works great, heavy duty, and very fast shipping! Came before I expected it. Also easily allows for lawn maintenance.

We purchased this product ,s/h was quick enough ,price was very good and clever for the hammock enthusiast with out 2 trees. Parts items were incomplete. Called the company 2 times for replacements. Time will tell.

Perfect solution for missing tree

I didn't have two trees which where 15 feet apart for my hammock. This removable pole was the perfect solution. Cementing the sleave in the ground was easy. Great quality.

"Great Idea"

Easily installed. Strong post, blends in well with landscape and doesn't interfere with mowing the lawn. I'm looking forward to purchasing two more for my daughter in Florida.

Great Idea, good design

I bought 2 of these poles since I don't have trees large enough for the hammock. They hold me just fine (185 lbs). I will try 2 people soon (try to stay below about 325), just haven't yet. There were just 2 things that I wasn't totally excited about. It wasn't clear that you needed to use concrete for the poles (you do) and that the poles weren't completely painted on the inside. I was able to match the paint and do that myself (only somewhat though on the taller post).

Good solution if you don't have 2 trees

This post is a great solution if you don't have 2 trees for your hammock. Based on the size hole you have to dig to install it will take almost 500 lbs (6 - 80lb bags)of concrete. Since many hammocks can support 2 or more people, it would be nice if this pole was a heavier gauge metal to support more than 325lbs - maybe say up to 450 lbs.
