For being the first time in getting a desk in my whole life, I’m really happy with this one. I really like the space it offers and the choice of switching the pieces in which way you prefer. In having the long piece on the left or right. I really like the option in which you can keep the keyboard tray or just take off the whole thing. Now the things I didn’t really consider with this desk, was that I would have preferred a sharp corner instead of a round corner because I now have this awkward small gap which could have been filled and used in putting stuff there without the fear it would fall through. I also did not think through that the glass for the desk would be thin, meaning that if I wanted to put an monitor arm up, I would not fear it breaking the surface of my desk. For the weight could be on one specific area and not evenly spread. Though by chance if anyone has tried to with this desk, please correct me if it can withstand it and the link for that monitor arm :). The desk can can withstand the weight placed on it, which I have my 32in monitor, laptop, pc, and printer. Overall, I’m happy with this desk being it my first one and I’m grateful for the opportunity in having my own setup :’’).

I love this desk! Quality, sturdy materials, and I love that I can write on my glass top with dry erase markers. Instructions were easy to follow, and you'll want to wait until after the desk is assembled to fully tighten all screws. Great price and was totally worth every penny!

This is awesome! High quality, beautiful and functional! I needed something kind of small for the space I have, and this fits perfectly! . Super easy to put together. Great value for the price. It shipped quickly too. It's large enough for me to work very comfortably, and it looks great!

This desk itself is a great size, the dimensions are different than I was able to find in other similar style desks and I needed that so that the short end didn’t stick out so far. So far it looks beautiful and seems sturdy. I haven’t had it long enough to notice anything dysfunctional about it. I would suggest you build it in the spot you are going to put it, as the desk is not easy to move once it’s built (well, it feels like you are straining the glass if you try to move it yourself anyway), so I would suggest getting things set up around it and in place before you put the glass on top so you don’t need to shift it around. I have multiple computers and work from home currently, this desks fits them all well and looks quite nice as well! . . My biggest complaint is that it went on sale right after I purchased it and the seller wouldn’t give me the discount to meet the sale price even though I had just placed the order and hadn’t even received the desk yet. They did offer a smaller discount when the product arrived damaged. I ended up spray painting the metal parts of the desk since I needed to cover up the scratches anyway. That worked out since I chose a gold color to better match my room, but I spent more money on spray paint because of the damage so I really didn’t end up receiving much of a discount when you take that into account. I would have liked to just be offered that discount of the sale price when it went on sale right after I purchased it (I feel like this is pretty standard good practice for most companies if an item goes on sale only days after someone purchases the item). The smaller refund was nice, but I spent the refunded money on product (paint) to cover the damage anyway. . . Overall I’m happy with the desk, but the business could have been better with their initial customer service when I requested them to match the sale price.

This was super easy to put together! Didn't even need any help. Seems sturdy enough. I bought 1 for my child to do school work and one for me for sewing. Only took about 25 min for the first table and maybe 15 for the second one.. sleek design.. Great price.

Completely satisfied!

Instructions were on point, my son and I put it together quickly. I specifically wanted a desk that had the pull out for keyboard and mouse. Needed room for two monitors and space for writing or doing bills. Great value for the price and now my office is complete. Just saw that this desk is now out of stock. Timing is everything!

Great workspace

Desk was well packaged with no missing parts or broken glass. I already had one of these desks and wanted to order another one to give myself a little more space with WFH lasting longer than anticipated. I used the short end and the corner piece and connected it to my existing desk. Now I have a small u-shaped work area that holds my printer and doesn't look cluttered. You won't regret this purchase. The desk was easy to assemble and I did it alone. I used the other portion of the desk in another area of the house.

Great desk but return too short

I actually love this desk, but I'm going to have to get a different chair (and I just bought this one). The shorter portion is about six inches too short for a normal office chair. The arms of my chair go up, but even in the up position, I can't sit directly in front of my monitor. And I keep bumping into the longer side with the chair. Very annoying.Add six inches on the keyboard try side and it would be five stars. Or make sure the width of your chair is no more than 27" maximum at the outside of the arm rest. This would work much better with a chair with no arms, but that's not what I'm looking for in an office chair, since I am working from home.

Nice, with one exception

Assembled this, almost to the end, only to find two of the components had holes drilled 1/4 inch off from the threaded lugs mounted to the glass top which goes on top of them. Making this table, essentially, useless.

Nice desk

This desk was easy to assemble and looks good. It arrived quickly and was packaged well with all parts and no scratches. I like that the desk can be assembled on either side of the shorter part. One thing I don't like about the design is that the shorter part with the keyboard tray is too small for multiple monitors as a work station. It would be better if this was longer so there is more room for monitors. I also wish the keyboard tray was on the longer part as I will end up using this as the primary workstation.

A great product, but...

This product is all it is supposed to be. The lines and the assembly are simple and clean. Putting the unit together was straightforward and easy using the provided Allen wrench and the good instructions. The only problem came when one of the "D" screws came up missing for attaching the corner piece to the long table. A substitution had to be made. This occurred with only one of the kits. Altogether, the desk is well made and is strong, being made of metal. It is worth the price I paid and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice addition to any contemporary dcor.

Easy but

Overall this was an excellent purchase on my part. It came quickly which I appreciated since I wanted my home office space to be up and operational in a timely manner. Putting it together started out pretty easily however when it came time to put the glass on the alignment of the holes became a little tricky because it was pretty hard to see since I was underneath the unit. I finally realized I needed to loosen the screws and shift the glass in order to get the all the screws in and then go back and tighten them all down. Once I had that down putting in the second glass piece was easy.

Good Value for the Price

I just received this desk today and put it all together in, oh, probably an hour, perhaps an hour and a half, with a little assistance. I love that it's a smaller corner desk that fits well in rooms that are hurting for space. It's a good price for such a desk, too. I did find that the desk was a bit difficult at times to put together--screwing something just a bit too tightly or a bit too loosely before the desk was entirely put together could cause large issues with getting everything to align. Overall, though, the tempered glass is great, the size is perfect, the assembly was relatively easy, and it just looks clean and modern. I feel obligated to mention here, though, as everyone else has said, that buyers should definitely assemble the desk in the spot it's going to be in as you'd need to take the whole thing apart to move it--or else move it very, very carefully. If you're worried whether or not it will fit in the space though, it's worth mentioning that the corner piece can be left out to give two small, separate standing desks.

Review for Techni Mobili Computer Desk (RTA-3802)

Shipment came days earlier than expected. The desk was extremely well packaged! No broken glass! Went together easily, because of well written instructions and labeled parts, plus added tool. The desk is study, functional, and eye appealing. Being able to convert either desks (left to right) was a huge plus. Perfect for limited space. I felt like I bought an item that was made with pride, quality and a great price. I did modify the computer carriage by adding non-skid shelf lining (the rubber type) to the rods with double sided tape to keep the computer from slipping off (works great! did the same with my keyboard.). I would highly recommend this desk and would purchase Techni Mobili (RTA) products in the future .

Love it!

I am so happy with this purchase. I needed something with less depth but with enough space to accommodate all my equipment. This definitely worked out great. I love the way it looks too. It has a very clean and sleek look. It was so easy to put together as well. One person can quickly set this up. It also has a sturdy feel to it so I think it will last for quite awhile. The only thing I forgot is you need a mouse pad with a glass top. I also like the console holder. It doesn't really fit under the desk but fits nicely on the side next to a filing cabinet. I have a laptop on the short table so use the pull out shelf as extra work space.

Better than expected

For pretty close to $100, this is a great desk. Office Depot, Staples and other similar places have desks with similar construction running close to $200 *per piece,* and this setup is three pieces.

so easy to put together!

Product arrived well packaged - nothing broken or missing. Directions were clear. it took about an hour to put up with my 5 year old helping a few times. Seriously, this was so easy to set up! And the directions are included if you would like to swap the long and short sides to fit whatever space you have. The size is perfect for my needs - will fit monitor, keyboard, printer, and phone with room to spare. It is very clean looking - although i'm sure the glass will quickly become full of finger and hand prints! if that doesn't bother you i highly recommend. it is light and easy to move, especially before you put the glass tops on so you can try it out in different places without needing people to help you move it!

I cannot say enough good things about this desk. It looks great and it is sturdy and well constructed. The assembly instructions are clear and easy to both read and follow. One person can easily put this desk together with ease by using the supplied Allen wrench and Phillips head screwdriver. The pieces are clearly labeled and pre-mounted fittings line up cleanly and neatly. The tempered glass desk surface is sturdy and and provides a firm, yet comfortable work space. All that is it looks great too. I highly recommend this desk....even more so when you take the low price into account.

Quality investment

A exceptional buy in a very functional desk. This product is well engineered from the shipping carton, to precision aligned parts, and on through the ease of assembly. The assembly manual is well written and illustrated and parts are clearly identified and packaged in a strip of pouches. Instructions include optional directions for assembly with the keyboard section to the right or left side. The finish on the metal frame is a neutral gray tone and is a uniform, durable powder-coat material. The tempered glass panels are nicely edged and fit as they're supposed to. If you need storage, this desk is not for you - otherwise you can't beat it for clean lines and functionality!
