Looks great. Price is exceptional. Have purchased a second one. Using a 3-way LED with it. Not all new lamps use LEDs (hard to believe, right?). Was back ordered, but Home Depot kept us advised of the availability and it came rather quickly.

This is a very nice lamp and we like that it is 3-way. We use 3-way leds in it.

Not a great lamp

Firstly, the part closest to the base was stripped, so VERY unstable!

Great lamp

Actually bought it from a friend. When I was washing the glass shade I noticed a bit of adhesive residue so got my goof-off and sprayed it on. As I was wiping off the adhesive the Amber color started coming off. I was actually happy because I had really wanted a white shade. The good-off removed all the Amber color and now I have a beautiful lamp with a white shade. Just a tip

Best deal I've found in a long time!!!

This lamp is amazing! I recently had eye surgery and needed to temporarily change up my office lighting, after buying several lamps and returning, I almost gave up. Since it's for work I was not wanting to spend too much money yet I wanted something decent. As I was about to give up I found this lamp. The price is AMAZING! But, the best part is this lamp is the best one I've found in a long time. I cannot believe the quality of this, I would pay full price $79 but I got it on sale for $39. It took seconds to put it together as it's all setup you just have to string it together and there was little to no mess. It's also really good quality materials, the lamp shade is made of beautiful glass and the base is heavy so it's not going to tip or get knocked over.

This lamp is great. Looks very nice, solid metal base and pole with a swirled design glass lampshade. There is nothing cheap or plastic looking about this lamp. I couldn't believe the $300 and higher price tags on some comparable lamps when this one was so nice looking. Uses a 3 way bulb so you have a range of light intensities. Base is very heavy so no tipping issues. Very easy to put together. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this lamp.

Nice lamp but the screw to attach knob is bent.

The metal screw that knob went on was bent. I will need to replace the switch completely. Not sure how much that is but I would need to disassemble and replace wiring on new one in order for it to turn on without going up %26 down when it should just stay straight. It lights up just which it wasn't bent.

I am honestly impressed at this lamp. I was looking for a vintage lamp, but I found this lamp and ordered it because it has the look I want without having to rummage through antique stores and deal with aged wiring. I was wary, thinking there was a 95% possibility it would be rubbish and I would have to return it, but not so. It's not going to pass for a high quality piece, but it looks good. The shade is glass and the body is metal. It is heavy and the pole is thick. Five stars for the quality and value.

Get 3 way bulb bc it woks. not listed in descip

I purchased this bc it wasnt plastic its glass bc fire hazard if you ask me. than i said oh I wish it had a turn dial so you can dim it. I was turning to shut it off that which i thought was suppose to turn off than i had to turn it again. im like oh wow maybe this has 3 options for brightness. I bought the bulb to try. BOTTOM LINE GET THE 3WAY BULB BC IT DOES HAVE 3 DIFFERENT SETTINGS SO EXCITED WASNT LISTED IN DESCRIPTION TO LET YOU KNOW

The company that supplies this lamp to Houzz, VirVintures worked with me to replace a defective lamp. Its so awesome to see a company like VirVintures and Houzz to work with costumers and make problems right! I was very excited to get this lamp since I had bought one exactly like it from another company over 2 years ago and have been very pleased with the looks and durability of the lamp. Its sturdy, understated but very attractive. I needed a matched set but assumed I'd never find one exactly alike. Needless to say I was very disappointed when there was a defective part after ordering this one. VinVintures replaced my lamp and dealing with them through Houzz was very personable and easy. Those $20 lamps are better than this

The materials were cheap. The threading on the screw-in lamp post at the base and at the light fixture were unforgiving. If you didn’t screw it in right the first time, oh well. It spun on the bolt and didn’t separate again. The lamp leans at about 80 degrees. I used pliers to get it try and get the two unstuck before deciding that this crap lamp wasn’t with the effort I put into putting it together. I’ve bought $20 lamps that went together in the same way and without a hassle. This was too much money for it to be this bad. I can’t give zero stars. I give it one star because it’s a pretty color and it casts a nice light.

It's okay

It's just okay. Not as pretty as others are claiming it to be, and I did encounter an issue trying to screw the pieces together. As others have mentioned, threading the pieces can be a problem and now the top piece is a little crooked because I couldn't get it threaded completely straight, and it was already in there crooked and it would not let me back it out again. It also claims to be bronze when it's really more of a dark brown, almost black color. I definitely think a "closer to actual bronze" color would have made It more attractive. The marble like bowl shade is just okay, but nothing to write home about (it doesn't seem like real glass, and the marble design is just so so). I had a faux Tiffany style torchiere lamp which finally gave out, and this is a cheaper replacement. It does the job and wasn't terribly expensive , so I guess that's good enough.

In comparison, ****** (blech) is selling this type of lamp for cheaper, and it's really cheap - the lampshade isn't glass like it should be, it's PLASTIC. :( By comparison, this lampshade is glass, and actually decent looking too, as well as being thick and sturdy, along with the metal stem. I'm sure the trumpet lampshade is not unbreakable, but to break it would probably take a lot since the glass is very thick. The stem is in four sections, but they were easy to screw together and very stable. The lamp only takes 60 watt bulbs maximum, but the glass doesn't heat up at all, it stays cool. There is no dimming switch, but it's easy to turn on and off. All in all, a good purchase, reasonably priced, and I'd buy this lamp again!

Fantastic light

Lighting: Covers a good area with light. Tinted glass cover makes the light more yellow than white. Wired for 3-way bulb, but regular bulbs still work.
