Looks so good and great in the living room with high ceiling. Word to the wise - be sure to screw in the bottom piece straight or the whole lamp will sit crooked

I just received the light several days ago, but first, very easy to assemble and most importantly the light is very bright which what I wanted and uses LED bulbs. So worth the price and so far happy with the purchase

Very nice product, I purchased 2 different floor lamps which I like very much, I had given one to my Niece, and she likes the lamp also, although the one with the plastic lamp shade should have been made of glass, which in my save list there's one with a glass lamp shade will be my next purchase.

We like the lamp but we're disappointed that the shade(globe) was plastic and not glass. . Margaret Holly

Not recommended

I do not recommended it. Mine was defective. Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline of 30 days after purchase (was informed via phone that could not return after that even though the piece of defective). In addition, this floor lamp is considered furniture by Macy's. I could not simply return it as other items directly to store. Very disappointing experience with Macys and the product.

The Adesso Glenn brass floor lamp was definitely a good purchase and easy to assemble

Just what I needed

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for! It puts out 300 watts of incandescent light, it's brass-colored, and doesn't weigh a lot. It's in a room with a 20-foot ceiling, and it fits the space perfectly. The reason for 4 stars, instead of 5? The shade is plastic, and I'm concerned that the high-wattage bulbs are going to melt it, over time. Otherwise, it's great.

I put in 2 150 watt equiv LED daylight bulbs...lamp is superbright and lights up my office wonderfully! The traditional on/off means I can control from the wall switch, no problem.

The lamp showed up on time and arrived undamaged however it could not be assembled due to a manufacturing defect. One of the pipes had not been threaded so we returned it to our local store and went elsewhere for a lamp.

This is a well built lamp that assembles easily and, with two bulb sockets, can throw out a lot of light at the higher of its two settings. I'd give it 5 stars if the torchiere canopy were made of glass instead of plastic.
