I bought a couple of these to hang from the ceiling of my shop and they are VERY high quality. Very heavy gauge wire. Couldn’t be happier.

extension reel

this reel works well first one I got worked for two days then got a short in reel and quit working, so I ordered another since I removed end to switch into power plug instead of extension cord.

Installed in the middle of my 30x48 shop for easy access to plugs for hand tools and such. Ratcheting system works great and it seems very stable.

Mounting brackets work well with swivel. I mounted it on the ceiling. Cord pulls out and locks securely and easy. Also the retract is simple slightly unlocks and in with ease.

So far, excellent product. I mounted it on a 14' ceiling with a dedicated circuit. The deployment and retraction is very good and the cord seems to spool well. (I also installed a 65' unit on the opposite side of my shop - same circuit - to give greater reach to outside of the building.)

Peace of mind

Yeah, it's definitely heavy duty! Easy to mount works well and I have peace of mind knowing that the heavier gauge cord won't damage my tools.

Very nice cord reel. Time will tell how durable it is. Easy installation. Cord is heavy enough to run any 15 Amp tool.

Retractable Extension cord

These are great. 12AWG ensures it’ll handle most any thing I need. The 45foot length means it can go anywhere in garage and a ways outside. Mounting ceiling or wall works great.

The installation of this retractable ext. cord was fairly easy. The reason I bought this was to plug in a device that was, at peak load, 15 amps. This product was suppose to be rated at that, but popped the internal circuit breaker.

Vevor Retractable Extension Reel 12 AWG 45ft

I bought this heavy duty retractable power cord and the more I use it the more I like it. It is mounted on a beam that crosses the width of my garage in the center. Easily accessible. I opened the box and read the mounting directions. I could not mount it the way the instructions showed but I was able to turn the mounting plate upside down and install the retaining screw to hold it in place. You can also remove the plate mounted to the reel itself and mount just that. Definitely well designed. Now, the reason I went with the 12 AWG is I am able to plug in my 110v Wire Feed instead of having extension cords laying on the ground. It also has 3 outlet plug-ins to hook up say my welder, a 4" Grinder and a drop light if needed. Repeat: The more I use it the better I like it!

After my 30 year old Craftman worklight broke, it was time to get a modern (15 Amp) reeled cord.
