I thought the rug would be thicker. It was very thin. I loved the pattern, but the color of the dark blue was a brighter blue than the photo looks. I needed a very dark muted blue. Also, be aware that, if you have to return the rug because it isn't the right color, or for whatever reason other than damage in shipping, it will be returned via a freight company for an exorbitant amount of $140! I paid just over $500 for the rug and over 1/4 of the cost was eaten up in returning. The customer service rep was nice and gave me a 10% coupon, but I will be leery of buying any large items that may need to be returned because the color isn't right or it isn't what was expected. I always read the reviews, but what works for one may not always work for another.
