Extended reach floor lamp

I love the clarity of the light, moveable positioning. It's difficult to move the screws to change the positioning, but a screwdriver helps with that.

I use this to light my workspace and it works great. 3 levels of illumination and easy touch to change them. The stand is a little flimsy but not bad.

Love this light. It has 3 touch setting to increase or decrease the amount of brightness. Easy to assemble and has a sleek modern look.

This is a Good Lamp

Great lamp - provides a nice type of light that is easy on the eyes. It is a big help for me while knitting at night. I just wish it came in brown or black not just white.

Outline floor lamp

This is a great light for crocheting, but it doesn't illuminate much of the room. I live the design. Easy to put together.

Lighting is awesome but quality is not

I loved everything about this light. The adjustable feature, the brightness, the weight, sturdiness, all of it. But, then there was a bang. And lamp down! When it wasn’t in use and nobody was in the room it broke at the connection and fell to the floor. It stayed attached with the wires I assume, but the metal cracked and broke. Not the kind of metal that someone can weld for me and too heavy to glue. Kaput and in the trash.

Nice bright floor lamp

Bright white light that works well for lighting a very specific area. Nice to have three brightness levels. The lamp is easily enough adjusted, but it will require two hands, one to hold in place at desired angle, the other to tighten screw to keep in that position.

I love Ottlite Lamps!

I love OttLites for their small footprint and adjustability! I have 5 of the different style OttLites. Love them all. This one I use to read in bed. Adjusts to where I need it. Very good brand!

Great looking floor lamp with great function too!

This is a great floor lamp. The light is bright but adjustable and the lamp itself can be positioned however is exactly perfect for you. It’s very sturdy and high quality.

Immediately malfunctioned

When I first assembled and plugged in the lamp, it seemed to work fine. Later that same day, I turned it on again and it just kept blinking on and off. I telephoned OttLite, and they said, "Oh, that usually doesn't happen until after a few years!" They told me to turn it off for half an hour so the "computer could reset" and then turn it on again. I tried this and it still blinked. So then I called Blick, and they said that if OttLite couldn't solve the problem, I should just send it back, which I did. I took the refund rather than a replacement. I do not trust something that can malfunction so easily.

Looks really nice. Easy to put together and turn on and off. You can easily adjust the brightness. No replacement bulbs for it, but I have an OTT lite purchased 20+ years ago that still works great.

Love it. Would be better if it swiveled at the lamp head top so as to direct light.

Not Very adjustable - adjusting is difficult

The quality is just ok. The base is heavy that is positive. The ambiance of the light is good for reading. But the design is terrible. I would have returned it but had gotten rid of the box. The light does not turn right or left at all. The mechanisms for adjusting are cheap and not easy to operate. The light only adjust up or down not right or left - so it is difficult to get the light not to shine in your eyes when reading. I have several Ottlite's that I love - but this is one I just hate.

Given what I found out, I don't think I would have bought it

I had to say this lamp is overpriced for one particular reason. Unless I missed this information, NO WHERE does it say that when the bulb stops working, you can't replace it but must throw away the lamp and buy a new one. This is the craziest thing I've ever heard of. The lamp itself is well constructed, nice solid heavy base, and able to be adjusted to different angles. The description also doesn't tell you that you can only use the lighting system that is in the lamp. I have bought special screw in lightbulbs to use while painting and bought this lamp because of the domed head, thinking I could use my preferred light bulb. I really don't like the idea that I have NO idea how long the light will work and that I have NO OPTION but to throw away the entire unit when the light goes out

Beautiful and functional

Got this for my mom for her birthday. Shipping was very fast. It's much more stylish than most of the previous models and she loves that you can adjust the light level. Now I'm jealous and want one to replace my older, less pretty model!
