Natural gas only! Not for propane.
Please be aware that this part is the natural gas version, if that's what you need; buy it. The listing fails to mention anywhere that it is for natural gas they even exclude pictures of the safety sticker on one side that says "NAT. GAS ONLY" the part is nearly identical to the propane version and it is definitely a quality OEM replacement.

This product was recommended to me to buy was was the incorrect product. This is a temp control product for a gas water heater. if this would have been installed, it could have been catastrophic. you really need to be more careful when it comes to products having to do with natural gas.
