LED Tape Light Kit, Minus the Required LED Controller

My wife requested this Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro 24-Volt White Dim-to-Warm LED Tape Light from the Home Depot Seeds August campaign because she has wanted to try installing an LED light strip in our closets that have no lights or under the kitchen cabinets like she's seen on tv a dozen times over the years. Initially I was confident that I would be able to install these in at least the kitchen where power is available under both sets of cabinets. However, as I inventoried all the parts supplied for the LED tape light, I realized the manufacturer cheaped out on supplying the most critical component, a LED power controller module. It's not an expensive component, but a necessary one to make the whole thing work. I'll probably buy a controller online to install this kit, but I'm not happy about having to do research to find an appropriate controller.

easy peasy

This LED ribbon lighting has a myriad of uses. I made a recessed tray area and this light provides the perfect lighting for that spot. The ribbon is long, suitable for any application and comes with already stripped wires to connect. There are also various connectors to extend the ribbon by attaching more LED strings. My pics of the light on don't give justice to how perfect it is for mood or night lighting.

Awesome Accent Lighting.

I was looking to replace some low quality led straps we bought online. And the red burnt out in the first 5 minutes of having it up so we were looking to replace it with a higher quality product and we found it. This led strip is so much better quality than the other one. Right down to the adhesive on the back. The construction of the strip and connections are quality all the way. I'm didn't order the controller to start so I'm waiting on that now but overall I'm very happy with this lighting.

Simple to use and install

These tape LED’s are very Bright and Thin. Best when used under a shelve or cabinet shelving. You will want to direct the light downward or away from the visual point (i.e away from you) NO need for staples or tacks, there is a double-sided sticky tape attached to the underside, just peal the protective layer and stick the LED tape to most any surface which is good as I thought that I would need to figure some way to attach the LED’s to the shelves. You could also tape them around your mirror or windows. I was worried about touching the tape with my bare hands because I was afraid that I might Short them through Static Electricity but it did not seem to affect the Lights’ operation or short anything out.

Apply easily

The Armacost lighting RibbonFlex 24 volt white Dim-to-Warm LED Tape light is very easy to apply to any surface. I ordered it because Armacost is a quality product. I like the tape feature that sticks to most surfaces. Specifically I like tge dimming feature. I have plans to use it in our rec room that has a bar and taping it under the bar will give a perfect ambiance. All that is needed is an outlet to plug it in. I am anxious to have guests over and give them a room so they'll feel comfortable. I like this lighting.

LED accent light creativity

The Armacost Lighting Ribbon Flex is a 16 feet LED tape light strip only. You will also get two wire locks to join pieces of light strips and two adhesive strip clips to hold the LED tape. You will need a 24 volt source; adding an LED dimmer will add to the creativity of the lighting. This manufacturer provides a 24 volt transformer, dimmer and on/off switch to go along with this LED tape light. The tape is flexible with a sticky backing to attach like under a cabinet. Adding accent light gives a warm glow and not strong on the eyes. The product is high quality. The solution is simple but installation depends on your creativity.
