[Rewarded Review] Nice Accent Lighting

The Armacost Ribbon Flex White LED Tape Light are a beautiful lighting option for decorative recessed lighting options. It is a continues strip of LED lights with adhesive backing to install with. The lighting strip is approximately 1/4 inch wide by about 1/8" thick so it can fit into very small spaces. The lumens it produces is not enough for adequate lighting, but for decorative and accent lighting it is a perfect brightness. The system runs off of a 24v DC supply so beware of that prior to purchasing. It cannot be directly wired to any 120v AC system.

This tape is going to work magnificently to highlight my art glass on overhead glass shelves in my living room. I need to pick up the controller Armacost Lighting 24-Volt power supply and optional dimmer or switch. Which I will do shortly. The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand, and the ribbon is tiny so will not be obtrusive on the backs of the shelves.

This LED strip is 8 feet long, but can easily be shortened with scissors. One should note that to use it, you need to also purchase a converter to change household current to a lower 24 volt DC. I purchased the Armacost converter and a dimmer switch with goal of converting an alcove into a refreshment bar outside the guest bedroom. The istructions indicate that the strip is not for diret eye contact, so plan a means to diffuse the light. I really liked the idea of the adhesive back, but it did not stick well to the shiplap I chose. It is probably that the shiplap was not a flat surface. When I tried to attach the cutoff to the drywall, there was no problem. I fixed it by applying a much stronger double sided adhesive tape to the shiplap, then applied the LED tape to that. the lights at full strength are very bright and I am glad I purchased the dimmer.

[Rewarded Review] Great product to accent or highlight your work

Great product. Easy to use. The product seems reliable. It’s got a straightforward design so you don’t need to do anything difficult to install and use it. The lights are bright and makes the space look nice. I’m not sure how durable it is but it seems to be pretty good. I like the way the product is made and the low profile of the product. It lights up well.

The ribbon light strand comes on a reel. In a sealed bag. It does not come with a 24v LED controller, which I had to order separately.

[Rewarded Review] Might work but u must have a controller component.

It looks nice enough, however Ive tried several DC adapters, from 20v to 32v but i just cant get the lights to turn on. Then I remembered on the detailed instructions for the light usage, it showed a controller being used with every single type of setup, except one with a dimmer. A control board was not included, & I dont have any dimmers at my place. Would have been nice if a controller was included with the lights.

[Rewarded Review] LED STRIP LIGHTING Project/Installation

Wow! Didn’t expect the amount of lighting this product has. It’s just not the typical LED strip lighting, the whole ribbon lights up. Used this product to light up a small hallway closet in a configuration that hides the strip, amazing! Installation relatively easy. Instructions on choosing the correct power supply are a bit tricky. Thinking about using this product for another project.

[Rewarded Review] Bright lights!

These tape lights were so easy to put up and they are so bright! I had another strip before these and the white light looked yellow. But not these! These are true white. I had to purchase a power supply because this strip didn’t come with one. I hooked up the power supply, unrolled the tape, took the protective covering off the sticky side, and pressed the tape into place. It sticks really well and hopefully will stay stuck for many years. I truly am impressed with these lights and will definitely be buying more for the other cabinets.

I use these LED Flex Tape Lights often in my woodworking to light up different displays that I make. This set of lights lights I used for a Christmas display that I just finished making. There is a 3 year warranty and these are long lasting for 65,000 hours of use. This has 1965 Lumens with a 22 Watt equivalent. These are a soft white and should be used indoors. These Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex LED Tape Light is the perfect LED light strip for low-voltage, energy-efficient accent lighting projects. The LED light tape is ideal for many applications including under cabinet lighting, tray ceiling lighting, toe kicks, RVs, boats, motor homes and commercial spaces. I'm sure if you get these you will like them and be satisfied. I do recommend to others.
