The color

It was just what my cat need to keep her from going upstairs. The color of the gate is the same color as my wood trim and wood floor. Happy with the purchase.

RICHELL FREESTANDING GATE

I really went back and forth on getting a gate that was freestanding or the pressure mounted kind. I ultimately chose this gate on recommendation of a friend. I needed something that would stop my small dogs from running out the door when I would open it. (YES, they are trained but...)

We actually ordered two of these gates to cover our fireplace so that our toddler grandkids won't hit their head on the hearth. It works great for this purpose.

Attractive, small gate

I bought this gate to protect an armoire that my big dog likes to scratch. It's doing the trick and protecting the armoire from destruction. Could also be used to block doorways for a small dog or puppies. Nice, dark wood frame with black wire works perfectly with my living room decor. Not too difficult to put together but I did have to rely on the instructions.
