This bed is pretty sturdy, but there was damages when it arrived. I haven't contacted customer service yet, but I hope that it can be resolved. The slates that come with the bed are also very fragile and dinky. The tall support beam provided doesn't even touch the bottom of my bed. I hope this bed can last me a long time because it's very cute and functional with the storage, but it has some major flaws.

Outstanding appearance. Fit and finish above expectation, slats have a clever webbing to space the slats equally and secure to the side board rails. In my application to properly support the new mattress I added a 3/4 inch piece of plywood to make a solid platform. Very pleased with Home Depot Decor. Online ordering, shipping and delivery, packaging of the components were excellent.
