At first the pans were awesome, but within about 2-3 months, the one we use most from the set has bowed and no longer sits flat on the stove. Also, the nonstick feature went away and food now sticks. Very disappointed. We picked this set because it was PFAS free on nonstick. We do not cook with oil, as it's carcinogenic once it becomes heated, and ruins the taste of food for me since I had covid. It seems like that may be the only way to get it to be nonstick. We have other, older pans from another company that we've never had to apply oil to, and never bowed so I know the quality is possible. GreenPan just missed the mark here.

Best Pans Ever!

My husband bought me the Green Pan 16 piece set for an early Valentine's present. I had a hodge-podge of pots and pans and wanted to get a nice set. I went on line to check out what we're the best ones and saw that Green Pan was listed in the top 20! The draw back on the review was that you couldn't cook above medium. I don't find that a problem as you would be less likely to burn your food. I find that the pans cook evenly and in the same amount of time as I usually cook any food item. The pans clean up nicely. In fact you can wipe out the pans with a damp paper towel although I still wash them in warm soapy water with a dish cloth. My only drawback is that there are no lids for the 8" and 11" fry pans. I find it very aggravating that you cannot even find separate lids for them.

Confused by Labeling

Just opened last night. Lightweight pans. Color is pretty. Listing says dishwasher safe, but every pan has a label that says hand washing is best and best to use silicon utensils. Very confusing since they're advertised as dw safe and come with bamboo utensils. And the steamer that sits in the soup pot is stainless, so which is it? I made a grilled cheese just to test out and was honestly amazed at how clean the pan looked afterward, so I did just wash it by hand again, and it feels completely clean. Confused by the listing vs labeling but optimistic.

Love GreenPan Rio Ceramic Non-stick!!!

So happy to have a Healthier way to cook!!! Having this latest Ceramic Coating is so important to keeping me healthy, even at 80 yrs old, hopefully no forever chemicals leaching into my food. One thing I really like is that it seems to take less heat, or power, to cook. I turn my electric burner to medium heat, where I used to use high. Best to warm up the pan a bit on medium before cooking, too (I find). I fry an egg every morning, and I do use a small bit of oil in the pan. I bought the red, and with the white inside, these pans brighten up my kitchen. All I can say is "Try it, you will like it." Thanks Macys for the affordable pricing.

We bought these pans back in June and haven’t used all of them but the 10” and 8” skillets are not as promised when they say that it’s non-stick. The non-sticky layer basically came off after being used a few times. We followed all cleaning and care instructions and they won’t come clean. We also have watched the temperature as the instructions state no high heat. We also have never used metal utensils while cooking in these pans, and only hand wash these.
