The birds love it

The birds like this far better than the traditional bird bath I first set up. I put a rock with a bubbler in that, but it didn't leave enough room for bathing. Within a a few hours of setting this up I had birds drinking, and within a few days I had birds bathing. I even saw a squirrel drinking this morning.

Not a single bird has actually taken a bath in it but it looks nice in the garden.

Purchasing a second one

This bath is very sturdy and has held up well through 95 degree hot sun and an icy cold 30 degree winter. No cracks or chips from the extreme temperature changes. It holds just the right amount of water for birds to bathe in. The bottom of the bowl is not perfectly flat but it slopes a little allowing minimum depth of about 1/2 inch to a maximum depth of around 1 1/2 to 2 inches. This lets smaller birds and bigger birds have a place to drink and bathe.

Great bird bath. It took the birds a couple of weeks to use it, now we have visitors all day long.

We had a similar bird bath, but it was made out of a flimsy piece of plastic. This bird bath is bigger, a lot heavier and made far superior to the one we had. This one also included every thing necessary to hook it up. Home Depot had the best price and it arrived when they said it would. I am sure it will give us great pleasure for many years as we watch the birds bathing and drinking.

Looks good, wish it held more water. Got it to keep chipmunks from drowning in our pool. When it goes dry in the AZ heat, they come right for the pool. :/ Anyway, hope it helps.

This is going to work perfectly in the garden that I'm planning. Wanted a bird bath low enough so small animals could drink from it too. This should work nicely

Perfect for wild birds!

I wanted a low to the ground bird bath for my nyc rooftop terrace, and this was perfect. It looks nice and is sturdy. Of course the local birds love it!

Beautiful and sturdy. Love the access for birds and small animals. The squirrels use it a lot. The stone finish looks very real, and blends in with the terrain.

Exactly as pictured. I bought this to place on back property under a draping tree so that birds and small animals have access to water. Amazing the amount of wildlife it has attracted. Very sturdy and nice weight!

The birds love it!! I I change the water every day. It is lightweight and easy to empty. I use a kitchen scrub brush to brush it clean before refilling. It makes me so happy when I look out my kitchen window and see the birds drinking and bathing.

Birds Do Love It

I have several bird baths, but this is definitely their favorite for taking a bath, especially the Blue Birds. (I had six at one time.) The Blue Jays also use it for baths and getting drinks. I've also noticed Dove, Red Bellied Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers and a host of other birds getting drinks. And a few squirrels. It's good quality and heavy. During the hotter months you do need to bleach it about once a week as algae tends to grow in the rock like crevices.

Well the bird bath itself is nice so giving a “fair” rating. But it was advertised and pictured as heated. It’s not. Contacted customer service advising no heating element included as pictured. I asked if they could send me just the heating element. No - they couldn’t but they arranged for me to return it and would send me correct item. Received 2nd bird bath. No heating element. Contacted CS again. They then informed me that it was not a heated bath. I directed them to pic and guess what? The pic has been replaced with diff pic with no heating element shown. Sigh. I do not want to return this AGAIN and do not want to dish out $ for a diff bath.

Just what I wanted!

Well built. Feels substantial not flimsy. Took about a week for birds & squirrels to trust it but now they’re right at home. Easy to clean. Very happy with the purchase.
