Great Wool Rug NOT made in China!

This area rug is perfect in my living room. I almost didn’t purchase it because of the low ratings comments that said it shed, came smelling of mold, and the colors were dull in comparison to the photos online. Well, it did have a bit of a musty smell, but a sprinkling of baking soda and a good vacuuming helped eliminate that and the bits of carpet fiber. It doesn’t seem to shed as much as I was expecting from the comments. But the online photo was taken in in front of french doors that provide tons of light. In bright light, the colors are indeed more vibrant…just makes sense. Love this area rug!

Well-made rug worth the price.

This rug served me well for several years and now beautifies my son’s home. The colors work well with many decor choices. It has held up beautifully to frequent vacuuming.

Nice rug. I'd recommend it

Liked the rug, colors were a bit duller than picture but still very pretty. Thicker than I imagined which was good. Overall would recommend the rug. Sheds a little but so far it was mostly when we first got it. A quick vacuuming picks it up easily.

Love the rug - but still shedding after 3 months

We bought this rug and we are thrilled that we did as it really brought the entire room together. At first, we were concerned because it was a little muted in color than the picture, but I think the color is perfect. The rug is wool and sheds a little but I love to walk barefoot on it as it so plush and comfortable. Has a lot of support and framed the room in a way we could have never expected. Oh yeah, delivered several days earlier than promised - so Thanksgiving will be fabulous with our new rug.

Great colors and quality!

I bought this rug to use in my new counseling office lobby. The colors were exactly what I needed and the size was right. It has enough black to match the 3 black chairs from Ikea, but not too much. The other colors match the few pieces of furniture I am bringing with to my new location, including a red coffee cabinet and some wall art/accents that contain green. It's a very good quality rug. Good purchase!

I have been purchasing Safavieh area rugs for the past 10+ years- the quality is excellent. The colors are vibrant and they wear extremely well with three doggies constantly running over them. I am in the process of doing some renovating and wanted to match my living room area rugs. Luckily, this was still available at Overstock. Best pricing anywhere. I would recommend any of the Safavieh line. I have never been disappointed and I have purchased numerous ones in different sizes.

Very well made

This carpet is very well made and not a cheap knock off by any means. One thing to note is that the actual colors are a bit more faded than the picture shows on the website. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic carpet for the sale price. I had to give 4 stars because of the difference between the vibrant colors shown on the website, vs. the actual more subtle color in the carpet I received. Other than that it's high quality, very thick fibers, and the earth tone colors go good in just about any room.

I got this rug for my apartment bedroom and have to say it's an exceptional value. It's very thick and well made, the color is within reason of what you see on the website. Very comfortable to walk on, does a great job of absorbing sound reflections in the room, and looks great on the hardwood floor.
