Love this chair. Very solid and comfortable. Moves easily from mat to rug. Recommend this for tall and/or large people.

High price and cheap materials.

When I got the chair the left arm rest bolt hole was stripped so the arm is dangerously loose. I've not even put in 20 hours sitting in the chair because I've not had time to work on art and there's already damage to the right rear side near the headrest where the cheap material's surface appears to be peeling off.

Comfy Chair for a Fat Guy

The chair is very comfortable and does not groan and complain when I sit my massive bulk in it. So far the lift mechanism has not failed, no casters have broken so I'm living large, so to speak. The price was right and I feel I received good value for my money.

This chair is horrible! It's supposed to be for bigger people I am 275lbs at 5'10. It's a gorgeous looking chair but when I sat on it, the bottom cushion has NO support. It feels like I'm sitting on the cushion pan. I had my girl sit on it and she thought the same thing and she only weighs 105lbs. The other problem is the seat feels as if it is tilted forward.

A great heavy duty chair

This is my second chair from Hercules. The first was leather, this time I went with the cloth. I bought the leather chair over 4 years ago. The leather showed some wear and tear but held up better than all of the chairs I've purchased in the past. In fact, it is still in use. So far this cloth version is very comfortable, and I have faith that it will hold up equally well.

Chair is nice; customer service is lacking.

I purchased 2 of these chairs. One was delivered broken and I am still waiting for a call back from Office Depot on the pickup that was scheduled for yesterday. I also purchased the warranty so I need to know if that is also being refunded or if it will transfer to the replacement chair.

Husband Approved!!!

I purchased this as an early Christmas present for my husband's home office. He is a big guy who has worked in IT for 30 years, so he knows a thing or two about office/desk chairs. Assembly was pretty simple. It took both of us to finish because the arm rests needed to be pulled into place while the screws were inserted, but it wasn't a problem. He is thrilled with this chair! He says it's the most comfortable chair he's ever sat in and wishes he had one like it at work as well. I've also worked in offices for 30 years and have never had a chair that comes close. It certainly looks and feels like a quality chair that I hope he will continue to enjoy for years to come.

Comfortable Chair but I wish the Back was Adjustable

I agree with one of the reviews regarding the 45 degree angel. Despite the chair's comfort, the incline is NOT conducive for working at an office desk where you work in an upright position. If I didn't have a 3rd party back seat cushion, this chair would have been returned. I just wish the chair's incline was adjustable (it's height is adjustable).

Truely made for big & tall people

It arrived much earlier than initially promised. The box it was shipped in was falling apart but the contents were all there and were not damaged. Comfy seat with breathable fabric. It is much more comfortable than a leather chair that this one is replacing. Wider than most office chairs. When assembled it just barely fit through the 29.25" door opening to my home office. Not for short people. The lowest position will be too high if you are less than 6 ft tall. Sturdy steel frame for the arms which are used to connect the seat and back, like most office chairs. Due to its larger size and weight, assembly was a bit more challenging than most office chairs. I got mine together in less than 60 minutes. The chair makes some popping noises when recliining even though the screws that hold the arms to the seat and back where well tightened and retightened after a few days use. Seat back angle may be too reclined for some people and is not adjustable. Fabric on arms is rather course. I had a chair with similar fabric that wore holes in the right sleeve of my shirts due to my constant mousing action rubbing against it. Overall I like it and hope to keep it for years, as it is less likely to break like many other typical office chairs did.

Excellent chair for the price.

Bought this for my dad for Christmas and just put it together. Putting it together was relatively painless, but I would recommend buying a long torx bit and a drill and have at least one extra pair of hands to hold the cushions together while you screw the bolts in. After it was all put together, it felt pretty sturdy little to no wiggling and the packaging was excellent, held up very well to the shipping.

Great chair. Fabric a little rough

I was looking for a large comfortable chair for when I work or play video games on the computer. I am 6 feet tall and weigh over 300 pounds so I needed something that would accommodate my weight and height. I assembled it by myself which was a little tricky, attaching the back to the arms would have been easier with a second person to hold it. My only real complaint about the chair so far is that the fabric is rough on the bottom of my forearms when I wear short-sleeved shirts, which is all the time. I'll probably cover them with some softer fabric. Overall I am very happy with the chair.

PAD THE SEAT

I'm a big guy but it felt like I had compressed thepadding on the seat right down to nothing.Also instructions should show more detail onassembly. Needed screwdrivers as guides for armsand still ended up cross thread on last bolt.

Great Comfort and not to difficult to put together

I bought this chair so that I could be comfortable sitting at my desk for long periods of time. I'm on the bigger side, a little shy of 300, and this chair is amazing. All the leather on the chair is cushioned and extra comfort in the lower back, head and even the upper legs where the "waterfall" feature in the description states. It really is an all around good chair. I wanted to originally get one with a massage feature but after using this chair I really don't think I will need one.

Nice Chair

This chair is very comfortable for the large person. The seat is very thick, so I may have to raise my desk a bit, but totally worth the trouble. Since the chair seat is so thick, it would be nice if the chair could go down a bit lower, so I would suggest that in the next design.

Rusted chair arm

Upon opening the box I saw that a section of bubble wrap was covered in rust. Tearing off the bubble wrap found the weld on the chair arm unfinished and rusting.

Hercules 500 lb capacity swimmer office chair.

I ordered online and had delivered to me. Delivery was fast. The box lacked a set of directions of how to put together. I have assembled swivel chairs before so I managed to get it done. It is really a 2 man job but I did it alone. If you purchase from store it may be worth the money to have assembled for you.

Awful Quality

I ordered this chair and the first one had several crooked screw holes. I ordered a replacement, and we were able to get the replacement together, but it still had 2 crooked holes. One top of that one of the screw covers does not fit in the hole because the hole is too small. How ever once we managed to get it into a sense of shape, it seems to be comfortable.

NIce chair for the money.

I am a 400lb man 6ft and have a hard time finding reasonable chairs. This chair was easy to put together and has been working well so far. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and only time will tell. I would like it to be a little wider but that is just a personal thing. The quality is nice for the money but it is not a $1000 dollar chair so I was not expecting it to be.

Just what we were looking for!

This chair was chosen based on description and reviews for coworker. He loves the chair - fits his back and neck well; seat and arms are at the right height for him (6'3") to be comfortable using the computer. Fairly simple to put together. Chair is well made and looks nice in office. Very happy with this purchase! Highly recommend for taller clientele.

Only had for a bit over 1 month and honestly, for the price tag, not impressed by this chair. The 1st chair ordered was machined wrong so the seat cushion was crooked; the crew at my local Staples were professional with the return for sure. The 2nd chair was better machined but not perfect like it should be; the plastic cover for the hydraulics was cracked though since it really provides any function then fine. One thing I have noticed besides a decent and comfortable sit down is that the seat has a very slight tilt to the left as I can feel it. When I stand up the chair seat turns to the left so that tells me there is more machining issues. For the price tag, I will not buy another Flash Chair unless I can test it first to see if all is good.
