Nice durable heavy umbrella

This is a strong sturdy umbrella with quality levers and weighted base. Comes with a cover for protection from elements when not in use. Takes some practice to put the cover on or take it off because the umbrella is so tall. They provide a stick to assist in getting the cover over the umbrella. Base can be filled with water or sand, but not both. Goes up and down easily. I hope to get years of use out of it. 10x10 feet has great coverage. Be sure to measure your space and account for the change in height while opening and closing the umbrella. I installed mine in my screen enclosure

The umbrella coverage is great. It provides adequate shade for the designated area. However, technically, the umbrella is flawed. Despite adding the recommended 250 pounds of sand and water, and additional weight on top, the umbrella base is not stable. The slightest wind makes the umbrella sway and base move. It unfortunately is impractical to use in my location of Georgia unless the winds are less than 3 miles an hour. Bummer.

Expand replaceable parts inventory

As noted in several reviews, the X-shaped base is not protected from rain/water exposure and susceptible to rust/rot. Warranty for the base is 24 months.
