Fun relaxation under the stars
I did not think I would be a fan of blow up hot tub, but it surprised me. I have had it a few weeks, and used it mainly at night to watch the stars and relax. I set it up myself and one other female to help position it on top of heat shield ground blanket. Easy blow up, and heater is integrated in the hot tub walls. There is no extra box sitting outside the tub. It is more shallow than a typical hot tub. Sitting down my shoulders are not submersed. The chemical use can also be very confusing- it would be nice to have m spa s sell the chemicals and give very detailed instructions. The bubbles are nice ambiance but are not jets. The bubble blower is quite noisy, so I don’t often use it. The top is zipper top and easy to do solo. You can probably fit 4 adults sitting cross legged, otherwise it’s comfortable for 2 to stretch out. I drained it yesterday and cleaned it and refilled. Draining wasn’t as easy as I thought especially in the freezing cold, but got it done. I imagine it will be difficult to drain, dry, and roll up to put away. I am happy with my purchase, especially considering how much a “permanent” hot tub costs.
Premium design %26 look but…
Very nice inflatable spa, it has a premium look but… the cover is nice and the zipper and lock comes in handy but it can be a hassle putting it on. The filter system is a let down. Compared to my other inflatable spa, SaluSpa, it just doesn’t do the job. I had to purchase an extra filter to keep the spa clean. However the size, the overall look w/ the filter system built into the spa is a nice touch. But you have decide whether having an inflatable spa w/ premium look , because it one of or even the nicest looking inflatable spa out there, the hassle of keeping the water clean… A $70 filter system that you can use in-between uses can solve that problem.
I like the dark color. The interior inflatable under the cover should be taller so rainwater doesn’t pool on top in the depression. It “leaks” but may be attributed to humidity condensation. I wish this was explained better. Overall, it’s a nice cheap substitute for a permanent hot tub.
Great Inflatable
The best inflatable! Large, quiet and efficient. Easy setup and love the zip on cover. Buy some foam exercise matts to put under it. Running perfect right now and if it last 2 years this is cheaper than a traditional hot tub by far and its easy to drain and move. Only airjets which will cool the water quickly but I just need the warm water to unwind.
WAY better than expected!
Have been trying to decide between a blow up and a regular spa for some time now. Ultimately we decided on this spa, mainly because of convenience and cost. Set it up last week and WOW, it is pretty awesome! We used to have a regular spa year ago and I actually think I like this better, LOL. I actually really like how there are no seats, so you have more room to move around and stretch and relax. The bubbles are really relaxing! Sometimes with spas you get the jets that are just too hard, but not these. Almost perfect. Setup was a piece of cake too! Did it all myself in about an hour. Only took a day to heat up. So one thing I've noticed it that is sensitive to, is the E90 error code. I have gotten it a few times, only when I'm heating it. But realized that it was because I had both filters on. I kept just the one by the pump on, and that fixed the code from reappearing. Will have to report back with the longevity, which is what I'm most worried about, so we'll see. But for now, it's definitely a 5/5. We put this on our upstairs deck, which is also another reason we went with the blow up, since it weighs less and is now exactly where we want it! Making sure to keep it covered out of the sun, which would probably wear it out much sooner. If you're hesitant, don't be! It's awesome!!
Really I nice Hot tub
For the money, this is great. It holds temperature very well (but I also live in California’s SF Bay Area so we have great weather year round) it has lots of space and is easy-ish to maintain. So I have no buyers remorse. I really enjoy the hot tub and time in it. That said there are a few “things”One is that the inner inflatable cover started to leak air. So I found a replacementAnother is that I have recently found that some black or dark Greg plastic is flaking into the tub. I think it might be the top cover. As that makes sense to me, so that also might need some attention. It has 2 filters, but it really only uses the one closest to the pump. Often the primary filter will get dirty but the other is quite clean. So I replace the dirty one after several cleanings, and move the secondary filter into the primary. So the filters last a while. All in all it is a very nice tub and I enjoy it
Seems like a good product
Easily big enough for four adults, just fill it to the first level and 2 adults will get it up to the top fill line. Bubbles are great but not like the jets in a fiberglass spa. Also, when you use the bubbles it takes from the cool air outside the spa so it starts cooling the water down 103 degrees to 100 in 15 minutes with the bubbles on. Takes about 3 days for the heater to get the temperature up to 104 from 45 degrees just so you know. We’ve had the spa 6 months now and from the beginning it had a TINY leak just above the water line so we didn’t notice the first few times of use. Submitted a warranty claim and had to email intex a copy of my receipt. They sent a vinyl patches but no glue. I had to buy my own glue and I patched it. I think it’s ok now. THEN, the spa motor kept turning off so I checked the power plug and the thing had melted on one side . Contacted Intex again and they said they would cover it but I never heard back from them so about a month later I called and the representative said they accidentally overlooked the claim. So I had to start over again and send them all the documentation for management approval. TOTALLY a PAIN. So just letting you know,In my opinion, be ready to deal with this big company because I don’t feel they want to honor their warranty promise. You’re gonna have to hound dog’m. Buyer BEWARE. After all, it’s a blow up spa, and I don’t know of any company that that can make any repairs on this pump or electrical cords. It is fun when it’s working though.
Why did I wait this long
After months of window shopping, placing in cart and not following through, it took being 7 months pregnant to bite the bullet and purchase our Camaro 4 person spa. Quick and easy delivery, easy and fast setup, flawless customer service and refund of overpayment when discount did not apply to my cart was a great start.
28431EP 6-person spa is great for up to 4 people
After one month, the 6-person spa is working like new. I suspected that you need a 6-person spa if you want to put 4 people in it at the same time, and that's the reality. I use bromine instead of chlorine in my spa, and I'm still learning how to keep that balanced so that the spa stays clear. So far I drained most of the spa twice and refilled it with fresh water, so that's about once every 2-3 weeks for us. We use it pretty much every day. This is the Chicago area, it's winter time, and our spa is indoors next to our indoor pool. Note that there are two covers - one is the heavy vinyl cover that goes over the top and down the sides to the ground, and the other that is inflatable and floats on the top of the water, under the heavy cover. We only use the inflatable cover since we're not outside in the severe cold. The spa came with everything - pad for underneath, 2 covers, spa, filter/pump/heater, 2 filter cartridges, test kit, air-filling hose, patch kit, a couple tools, and miscellaneous items - a large duffel bag to hold almost everything but the spa and the heavy cover.
6 person Fits two people may before not six
LOVE THIS! I did my homework on the best value for the amount of money and this is definitely the one. 104° is really super hot so we’re going to turn it down to 100. It looks beautiful and it’s so sturdy you can even sit on the edge without it buckling. I Love the heavy duty insulating cover that goes all the way down to the floor around the tub. You can use it year-round. Don’t bother looking anywhere else this is definitely The best one that gives you the more bang for your buck. It has pretty lights in it at night, Filter, Corian bopper! I love it! I never thought I would be able to put this outside on my deck but I had somebody come in and take a look and they said for sure it would hold it due to the spacing of my joints when the deck was made 20 years ago
Good spa with poor manual and worse tech support!
This spa arrived in one big heavy box. Everything needed was present and accounted for. I watched the simplistic company set-up video, then tried to use the manual to do set up. I am a retired tech writer, so I know a poor manual when I see one. This one is too generic and lacks important details. After set up and spa filling, I had a constant leak from one of the pump fittings. Only after opening a coupling with much water loss did I find that no o-rings had been installed. The two needed were hidden in a plastic bag I'd missed on set up -- no mention in the manual. So be sure to install the o-rings during initial set up! Tried calling their tech support, but after twenty minutes, a Chinese national with very poor English told me to just read the manual!
Perfect quality just what we wanted
Fast delivery . Really easy to set up and inflate within 5 minutes . It took an hour or so to fill. Instructions are great so we set up the chemicals as soon as filled and we were both enjoying it the next day . Very quiet except the bubbles which you would expect . It feels very sturdy it also has a gauge to show you if overinflated or under as the heat from the sun will make it expand. So far we have used about $20 of electric setting it up and heating to 40 degrees . We turn it down to 35 when not using and back up an hour before we get in . The inly accessory we have added so far is the lazyspa foam mats but it has a bubble mat too . We will probably get some head rests and steps and would eventually like a surround for more protection . I can see us spending alot of time in this throughout the year .
The connections don’t line up.
We set it up. Pretty easy instruction especially watching other people online. Wish it had come with the initial cleaning kit or like sample products so you know exactly what to get. The top connection on the pump didn’t connect with the tub and flooded the room. Felt like it was stripped. It also wouldn’t line up. The other 2 connected fine. After flooding we placed a towel under pump to make it more level and then watched a video that stated start with the top one and work your way down. After thr flooding we tried this again and got it to connect by losing the screw ( it came out after thr flooding.) and then tightening it. It’s drip leaks still. But not like before. You can work with it.
I Really Enjoy This Hot Tub
I’m on my 3rd year with this hot tub and I use it VERY often! Compared to the cost of a real hot tub, this thing definitely worth the cost. Those 170 jets don’t ever disappoint. Now we did have to replace the actual tub this year which was $200.00 and the inner bubble of the cover which I believe was about $50, but when it comes to inflatables and how often we used it the first 2 years, like 5 times a week, I still won’t complain. Now, this is not a real hot tub so don’t expect to use it when temps fall under 50°. It isn’t made for that type of weather. We have used it when it’s in the 40’s but the temp goes down quick and you will be ready to get out within an hour. In the late Spring, Summer, and into the Fall, temps in the 60’s and above, we have found the temp can stay up there for awhile and you can enjoy for a couple to a few hours even. We live in DE so with our weather, we typically take it down sometime in November and then put it back up between mid-April to mid-May depending on temps. Overall, I’m satisfied and would recommend!
