Good for the money
I didn't really have any trouble with assembly, but I can see where some might. There is no text to the instructions. Just pictures and at some point, option 1 and 2 switched in the instructions. While putting the tops on, there was an issue with the holes lining up. They look like they should go either way. I had to rotate one section 180 degrees to get the bolts in. With everything tight, there is still some flex to it. I have my doubts about it holding as much weight as they claim.
Top is just a piece of laminate
We purchased this for our son for college - assembled it and he was working and dropped a coffee mug on the desk and the top shattered!!! a hole there was no substrate just a thin (less then 1/8”) veneer top
Predrilled holes
Most of the predrilled holes lined up on desktop with the exception of two on the front side of the desk.
Great for my new office. I already had a three-drawer filing cabinet, so I didn’t need one in my desk (I think there’s one with a file drawer). Wood-look is nice and the L-shape is great for my two monitors!

I NEEDED AN L-SHAPE DESK THAT COULD HOLD 2 MONITORS AND MY LAP TOP. I LOVE MY NEW DESK AND IT FITS PERFECTLY IN THE CORNER OF MY NEW OFFICE.

I'm really pleased with the quality of the desk! It feels super sturdy! You can feel that the wood is fake, however, just by looking at it you can't really tell. I found it easy to construct, I was able to do it without assistance. Instructions were clear.
