The colors are bright and distinct on this rug. It's not overwhelmingly red either, despite having a lot of primary colors in it. It's absolutely beautiful in person, and feels great on bare feet. Wool rugs are the best!
So, I bought this rug for my foyer and loved it so much that I bought another one for in front of the door. It is great quality and the colors are true. It really makes the whole room and makes the entrance into my home bright and inviting!
