some scratches on chairs

This item arrived and it was absolutely beautiful. The customer service team checked in with us several times throughout the process to make sure everything was good. The table went together quickly, it took us a couple days to get all the chairs together as there were eight of them. four of the eight chairs and imperfections on them, obviously beyond the rugged appearance it is supposed to have. They were scratches that exposed the different Wood color. after speaking with the customer service team and sending them pictures they said they would send me a touch-up kit. I have not yet received it as this was only a few days ago, but I assume this will be all I need to fix the issues. beautiful table and chairs, Nice quality.

Cheap Dining Set!

This dining set is very cheap, super low quality, very easy to chip and crack. The woods are not smooth, it will cut you if you are not careful. Also arrived with many broken pieces. Don't recommend.

Table

The quality of this table is not up to expectations. During assembly, I noticed various scratches, dings, and blemishes. There is an actual HOLE through the table as well!

Fantastic heavy table! This feels quality, and didn’t break the bank. I’ve had to tighten some of the screws on the chairs but it’s held up nicely. Took forever to put together though.

Beautiful table and chair set

We are super happy with this table and chair set. The color is nice and rich brown (see my photo) and very sturdy. We added two additional chairs to easily seat 8. Table works with either 6 or 8 chairs nicely. Great set!

Great table! Gorgeous woodworking really makes our dining room stand out and gives us a woodsy feeling. Overall I would recommend this table.

I love the Dark brown wood pattern. It matches the rest of our furniture. The wood is heavy and sturdy. It also has a few natural divets that can catch table cloths. It made our Thanksgiving dinner lovely due to being able to fit 8 people around the table without an issue (you need to buy the added chairs for 8).

It would be unfair to rate this purchase at this time! Package arrived just a few days ago. I still have trim on newly installed windows to do. Also an Oak Floor to sand and shine, before table can get put together. The table has ,though, been brought into the house taking up another room. It, as of yet has not been opened. Once the other work has been done then the table will get assembled, Then the chair boxes brought in, and those assembled. So will do a complete review after the above is completed. So far GREAT! They are making choose a star so I will pick the 3 which is in the middle.

Great Solid Wood Table and Chairs

I LOVE this table and chairs. I looked for months to find a solid wood set that was not junk and in my price range. I read all the reviews on this table and everyone said it was good quality but check the box as it can arrive damaged from a fork lift. I bought the table and six chairs. The table came in one large box and the chairs were packaged two to a box. The table was easy to assemble as you just have to attach the legs. The chairs were a little harder, but once we got the first one they were easy. Some people talked about the cracks on the top of the table catching crumbs from daily use. Yes there are cracks but this table is in my dining room and it has been here for a couple of months and we have not had dinner at it yet. So if it collects crumbs I don't care. Everyone has commented on beautiful it is. This set is a home run!!!!! Thanks Overstock.

Good Dining Set

A good dining set for the price especially given it is made of solid wood. Assembly of each of the chairs takes some time. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is that the table does have small "crevices" on the table top as part of the design - food and drink can get caught in those small spaces.

Sturdy and Great Value

This is a great set. We purchased one of the last ones on Overstock along with 4 extra chairs. The box arrived with three huge holes in it (most likely from the forklift). So if this comes back in stock make sure to check the box for damage. The legs and top were damaged in shipping. I'm still waiting to hear from Overstock on what they are doing to remedy the damage. Also know as said in previous reviews...there are deep grooves on the top of the table where crumbs and food lodge. This table takes more TLC to clean. Needs to be vacuumed! Otherwise, it's sturdy and more expensive looking than the cost. But beware of damage!!!

Nice Dining Set

This is a very nice and solid table. It the table top arrived damaged, however. Working with customer service to resolve the issue has been pleasant and swift, even with the holidays in between. The table seem very nice, however. The color is very similar to the pictures and with the table and chairs match perfectly. The product shipped fast and were relatively easy to put together (after figuring out the directions on the first chair). We will be getting years of use out of this dining set w/ my family.

The stain color is absolutely beautiful. The color is the same as the pictures shown. This table is super heavy and sturdy. This table is super textured with real wood grain. May have to scrub once in a while with a bristle brush if you have children. Only complaint is that the foot reSt are different wood then the rest of the set. Other than that we are happy campers!

My husband and I spent over a year looking for a nice wooden dining room table that will last. We purchased the 7 piece set (6 chairs and table), it came within 3 weeks in 4 boxes. After setting up the first two chairs the others were a piece of cake and the table was the easiest to put together. Overall set up took about 2 hours. The wood is heavy and SO nice, the table is sturdy and solid. The chairs are also heavy especially when sliding out from the table. We LOVE this table and the quality, i couldnt ask for anything better esp for the price! Also- the dog approved too!

I took a BIG chance ordering my first large furniture order online and I could not be more pleased. The table arrived in perfect condition and was very well packed in five easy-to-handle boxes. The largest box (the table) was 137 lbs, so moving and unboxing the table is certainly a two person job. The chairs are relatively easy to assemble and only require a Phillips screwdriver. I put the whole set together by myself in one night and had a huge family dinner the next day- we received complements on the comfort of the chairs and we were all impressed by the quality weight and feel of the wood. I'm so pleased with Overstock and the freight delivery company. A table like this would have cost me at least $1300 in my home town and I got it for much less!
