Be sure to tap the wooden dowels in all the way!!!! Since the dowels are glued in when installed, and the glue is typically dry by the time you join the pieces, if they are not pushed all the way in it can, and did, cause some damage to the unit. (Photo included, I used the screw cover stickers to cover) I notice what caused the issue the first time it happened and was able to correct it and no further damage was caused. I love the color and the way that this looks within our space!! It has a lot of storage space and there is enough of a lip on the shelf that I am going to look for a sliding door so that this can also lock, teenagers. The quality of the bar is ok, not the best but not the worst. Very easy to build and pretty sturdy. Definitely a nice piece to start a bar area and to continue to build off of it. I really like the rustic oak look to the cabinet as it really stands out in the room. This review was written by a full-time Bed Bath & Beyond employee. I wish that I was able to give 0 stars, please do not look to purchase from buyer unless you want your money caught up in the refund process

Great bar. Fairly sturdy. Lots of room for bottles and glasses. The only thing that worries me is some of the connections points where the cams are look weak. Hopefully that won’t be a problem.

Not Recommend

it collapsed and the dowl pins busted out the holes before we even got it fully assembled. and Uve been waiting a week to hear from the MFG so I can return it and Walmart is not helping either. They told me I had to contact Coasters. Funny my credit card statement reads Walmart not Coasters. I hate that this broke like it did was really looking forward to having it.

We disappointed and I will never order from here again. It took 3 months to get my order, and because I picked it up my self they will not honor the damaged items. I even have pictures from the warehouse showing the box being damaged.

Great rustic looking bar!

Looks exactly like the picture. It has a ton of storage and enough of an overhang all the way around for barstools. The foot rail is also a plus. I am using it an my party barn and it’s perfect!

Do Not Buy!

I was SO EXCITED to get this bar unit . . . so much so that I ignored the other reviews warning me of the cheap materials. The pictures looked amazing and I thought it would look wonderful in our newly finished basement. BIG MISTAKE. This really is one of the cheapest pieces of furniture that I have ever purchased. It was so disappointing. 3 of the pieces cracked/chipped as it was being assembled. I can only imagine how delicate it must be when put into actual use - though I don't have to worry about that. Seriously, I cannot emphasize this enough, save your money and get a different piece of furniture. NOW, having said all of that . . . I cannot rave ENOUGH about the wonderful customer service provided through Overstock.com - they now have a loyal customer for life!! I will never hesitate to order from them again, as they did all that they possibly could to make this right. I sent them pictures of the damaged pieces and they contacted the manufacturer to get me replacement parts. Of course, the manufacturer was giving them the complete runaround, but that DID NOT stop Overstock from keeping in constant communication with me. Every 2 - 3 days I received either a phone call or an email from Overstock keeping me updated on the progress of my claim (usually that they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, but hey . . . I appreciated that they showed genuine concern and hadn't forgotten about me!). When the manufacturer finally informed Overstock that they would not be able to replace the cheap, broken parts, Overstock refunded my money to me. I would have had the option to have a new unit sent out, but they did not have any more in stock and, honestly, I wouldn't have wanted one seeing how shabby this one was! So, in short - this bar unit is BAD but Overstock is VERY, VERY GOOD!!

It's a no on this Bar

Took a few weeks to get as delivery company kept rescheduling. As for the product itself, spend another couple hundred and get quality. This is particle board, comes completely disassembled. After 5 hours, it looks okay, but a bit wobbly, I could reinforce if I wanted to, but going to use for the time being and replace it with something else. I solely put together, but recommend 2 people for putting the sides on as it has to be lifted. Of course moving this thing, half built means the wooden dowels start coming out. Metal fasteners and wooden dowels, what are they thinking. Like a 2 inch piece of wood, is going to hold it together all the weight together. As for the look of the completed product, looks great, but if you have lean on it, I believe you may go down with it, especially if you have a few drinks and using it because of lack of balance and too much gravity.

Okay but not worth price

Comes completely disassembled FYI. Takes 2-3 hours to put together . Wood is cheap while putting pieces together soon as screws went in wood broke off and pieces were no longer stable . Had to go buy brackets and wood filler to repair because it's too much of a hassle to send back. But overall product put together looks very sharp and just like photo
