It is a beautiful farmhouse sink, I liked the option of choosing the flat side or the fluted side to face into the kitchen. It also has a nice depth to it.

Bought this for a new home we’re building. Haven’t installed it yet, but upon opening to check to make sure it was delivered intact, it is quite a beautiful and large sink. And very heavy! Can’t wait to see it installed and will update my review once we’ve been able to use it.

Exceptional sink. I typically recommend cast iron. However, this fireclay sink was relatively easy to build my base cabinet around. And most importantly. My customer is very happy. Need I say more.

FYI These are not 100% perfectly square all the way around. As I understand it they're hand made so some slight variations may be present in the size of the length and width of the sink. The sink I received, there was between 1/16 & 1/8 inch variability in the length & width. Not really noticeable to the eye though.

Beautiful but impractical

We bought this beautiful sink for our new kitchen. It's lovely but had problems from the start. After 3 months the inside corner glazing started cracking off. It's been about a year now and the pieces flake off every few weeks. The wire rack scuffes the surface and nothing we do can get it off. It's set inside the kitchen island so replacing it is going to be a big project. We are very disappointed but already looking for a replacement.

Sink to Kitchen Renovation

Beautiful, sturdy, of good quality... It worked very well in our kitchen addition. The cabinet underneath had to be reinforced to accommodate the sink, but this seems to be the practice for these fireclay farmhouse sinks.

Ruvati 33 x 20 inch Fireclay Farmhouse sink

We have been using this sink for about three months now and it is holding up well. Still beautiful and no scratches. We love having the extra room in the sink and the metal grate makes it nice to let dishes dry after washing them.

Adapter Not Included, Slightly Narrower Than Spec

Splendid, if not a beautifully crafted Fireclay sink. Quality exceeds expectations, the unit I received has no blemishes as described in the Ruvati documentation as being acceptable by their quality control process. Difficult not to admire this though it is slightly narrower than the specifications at 33". Packaged sufficiently to prevent damage upon delivery. Lack of an included garbage disposal adapter is inconvenient given their common usage though it might be a consideration in ceramic having a lower load capacity than other sinks and the variability in disposer weight. Strongly recommend a compact disposal unit and an extended garbage disposal adapter, as farmhouse sink cabinetry practically requires this if using 3/4" ply as a support base. Be advised that this sink is slightly narrower than the specified 33" width. Four stars due to the lack of the included disposer adapter.

This sink is a lot more then what I expected. Everyone involved in my kitchen installation was amazed at the weight and design of this sink. It’s absolutely beautiful.

The sink is not installed yet. It is beautiful hand made in Italy. A smooth side or fluted side giving me a choice. The sink is big and deep I can’t wait for the kitchen to be completed so I can enjoy my new sink. It is beautiful sink and it looks gorgeous. So many compliments and the sink is a pleasure to keep clean.I’m so happy kitchen is done and the beautiful sink is installed. So nice to be able to put full size baking wear in a sink to clean it.
