Very happy with this sink, and I cook a lot

Really like using this 16 gadget, rear drain sink. Prefer it over my old double sink which seemed to splash water everywhere. Wasn't sure about the 9" depth, but it's fine even being undermounted below granite. Nice finish on sink, just rub with the grain as with any stainless.

I loved the look and size of this sink, but I have received not one, but 2 defective sinks. Both times the boxes looked like they were repackaged. More importantly though, the sink itself had what looked like water spots all over but they were rough to the touch and could not be wiped away. Another weird thing was the drain assembly in both was not in its box. I have ordered other Ruvati sinks that were in pristine condition when I received them so I don't know what's going on with this particular model. I even called that manufacturer, but they were stumped too.

Ruvati Modena Single Bowl Sink

The Ruvati Modena RVM5931 kitchen sink worked out perfectly for my newly remodeled kitchen. It was hard to get at the time I ordered it, but Overstock came through in time for the install. At 31", it fit fine in my 34" cabinet. I was happy it came with a sink grid. The price was under $***, which seemed very good value for a 16 gauge sink. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't know it was possible to hate my sink . .

We purchased the Ruvati sink when replacing our countertop, because our old sink was not undermount. I really hate this sink. Every single time you use it, there are water stains on the sides. The only way to remove them is with Weiman's sink cleaner, and then the sink looks beautiful - until you turn on the water again. Who makes a sink that gets water stains as soon as you use it??? And don't leave a plate in the sink or, heaven forbid, let a pan soak overnight. The outline of the sink and/or the pan will be there until you scrub it out with the Weiman's, but it takes multiple applications to remove the mark. That's crazy. I know that I could use the rack that came with the sink, but it's cumbersome, especially when I want to use the garbage disposal. Also, my previous sink (which was significantly less expensive) did not require a rack or special cleansers to get it cleaned. I ran the water, shut it off, and voila - no water stains. I sure wish that I had paid more attention to the negative reviews on this product. Note that I rarely write negative reviews, but I'm so frustrated with this product. I won't ever buy anything else made by Ruvati. It looked beautiful when it went in. But we turned on the water, and our very brief love affair with this sink was over.
