It's soft and solid at the same time! The color is as presented in the photos. It was easy to assemble, once we found the instructions (maybe put them in with the accessories in the future) - we had tossed the boxes in a neighbor's dumpster and realized later that perhaps the instructions were somewhere in the original box, so my husband went dumpster diving and found them in the largest box! Once found, everything went together like clockwork! Thank you so much!!

The colour was not what as in picture and I was charged $341.50 for returning it. Absolutely not worth it

Beautiful velvet bed. Any mattress thicker than 12 inches will be higher than the foot board. . It looks great with an eleven inch mattress.

The bed is fantastic and looks exactly as pictured. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, sturdy bed. It took about a week and a half to arrive, but I was able to track it. . Easy to put together as well. The brown is a rich color.

I’ve been waiting to make a review of this beautiful bed. After purchasing an almost 3x the $$$ bed from another very well know company (West Elm) I ended up returning because after attempting to deliver the wrong bed with the wrong parts (or lack there of) with their “white glove delivery” they still couldn’t “deliver” so after 3 weeks of sleeping on the floor on a mattress I decided to order this beauty from Houzz… it took about 7 days to get to me and I opted to have the doorstep delivery and put the bed together myself, maybe because of ptsd from west elm… I did it though, It did take about 2 hrs to do so, but I DID IT… one person, no help and I saved myself $1500. This bed is gorgeous, sturdy and “Luxury” in my kids words.

The velvet feels really nice and the bed is sturdy and doesn’t squeak at all. Easy to put together. Took about 1 hour.

Great bed that was half the cost of high end stores. Only negative is that the images use a very thin mattress, which makes the bed seem taller than it actually is with a normal size mattress
