These rugs are absolutely beautiful as high-end as rug could be although they came folded all the creases have gone away. They have settled beautifully on the floor. The end stay down the corner stay down I couldn’t be more pleased with this rug that cost so it looks so beautiful.

Mildew rug

Rug was totally stinking of mildew immediately upon opening pkg. Beautiful rug TOTALLY mildewed. Rolled back up and repackaged but took hours to get the horrible smell and fumes of mildew out of our house. A horrible experience. But called Macys who were very responsive and arranged for pickup the very next day. I WILL NEVER order a rug from Macy's or any other place again. SHAME ON YOU SAFAVIEH.

Rug has an odor

It's not a bad looking rug but it has a musty smell. After a couple of weeks I had to return it, the smell didn't go away. Also, the ivory/gray isn't so gray, the pattern was more green with an ivory background. I could have tolerated that in my home but the smell I couldn't take. The rug also did a lot of shedding and produced fuzz in just those couple weeks that I had the rug.

I layered this rug over another cotton one. It is absolutely wonderful! This is my second all wool rug from Safavieh and I will probably buy more. You cannot beat the quality and price. The colors are so vibrant, and the texture is soft.

Gorgeous...better than expected

Thick rug. Nice details and true to picture online, if not better. Unrolled nicely...took it outside for a few hours to air out, new rug smell and all...went away, and I'm highly sensitive to smells and airing this rug out was beneficial. Nice off white color with taupe and gray. Details are almost 3D and nice to walk on. Highly recommend this rug.

This is my fourth Safvieh rug to purchase from Overstock. They have always been exceptional quality. This one is also great quality and I love the pattern. It is more of a loop texture. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of some random black loops. I don’t know to cut them out or not. I’m scared it will unravel in those areas. There are not many but they are randomly in the carpet. You think they are a piece of trash to pick off the carpet and then you realize they’re actually part of the carpet. Love the colors, Grey, crème and a light green/silver/greyish. Shipping is as quick.

Update - this rug never stops shedding. Wool everywhere! Wool dust bunnies under the couch. Wool dust on the end tables in the other room. It’s ridiculous. This rug is beautiful. It is a thick handwoven rug that matches the description and pictures. Some of the pictures are warmer than what I actually received but its so beautiful I am going to work with it!
