Beautiful rug! This is my 6th rug from Safavieh. Added a punch of modern pattern to otherwise traditional/transitional decor. Excellent quality and design. Highly recommended. Great value too.

Soft Rug

Nice plush rug. It replaced another rug that I didn't feel was soft enough under my feet. This one is very nice! The colors are beutiful and look so good in my living room. The only down-side is the shedding as it is wool. I hope this will end soon - I have only had it down for about a week.

Great pattern but very linty!

Love love love the pattern, Safavieh never disappoints with prints. But this rug is VERY linty. Regardless of how much you vacuum it. I wanted to return it but too much of a hassle to roll back up. As a note, you’ll definitely want the non-slip pads.

HighEnd, Rich, well made and incredibly Plush!

Absolutely STUNNING RUG! Just had our master bath redone, and ordered 2 runners for the walk in closet and in front of the vanity, a smaller one for the water closet, and a 9x12 for the master bedroom. These rugs are well made and lookreally highend. I love them so much I also purchased them in blue for am alternate room. Seriously, these rugs are GORGEOUS!!

Really bad smell

BEWARE - awful musty smell that does not dissipate with time - or baking soda. I bought this rug 9X12 and loved it. However, can not stand the musty smell; spoke to a professional rug cleaner and they told me the smell comes from the glue used to adhere the rug to its backing. I am beyond disappointed, not to mention the hassle of sending the rug back.

Beautiful Rug!!

This is the second SAFAVIEH wool rug I have purchased from overstock- this one is just as beautiful as the first one! It’s a deep blue and the pile is nice and high. It does shed as all wool rugs do. It’s nice and heavy too!!

Naughty Shedding Monster of a Rug!

Oh this rug is deceiving! YES, It is BEAUTIFUL, but an utter DISASTROUS MESS. It shed the moment i first stepped on it, these tiny little micro fibers which have a look of micro tiny straw all shed. The pile of the rug has two different heights. The white is raised pile and the black is the lower pile. The white appears to be what is doing the shedding all over the black. We rarely use the living room and have hardly stepped on the rug. I purchased the rug in April while we were working on my living room, purchasing new furniture, painting the walls and refinishing the floors. It stayed rolled up in the plastic it arrived in and I only put the rug down on our floor the last week of August and within three days, the rug had shed everywhere with its micro fiber that is now shedding everywhere. These tiny white fibers are even being blown around into the air and on to all of my new furniture and it’s causing quite a horrid mess. I wish that this rug worked better because it truly is a beautiful rug. It is just a shedding mess. I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS RUG FOR PURCHASE TO ANYONE!😖 my son is BEGGING me to throw it away because it is creating terrible allergy issues as well!!!

Lives up to the hype!

This rug lives up to the positive reviews!!! It’s gorgeous. I keep looking around my house to see where else I can put one. And the color is striking! It’s not royal. Like another reviewer said, it looks cornflower blue. And I cannot say enough about the quality. Even the backside of the rug is pretty! (Aside: I bought the 9 x 12. The finished size is actually 8’7” x 11’ 9”).

Harbor blue NOT NAVY. Beautiful

I love ❤️, love ❤️, love these carpets. I purchase 2 squares for guest room and my office, third one was runner. They are beautiful, thick well made and beautiful. They are listed on the website as Navy. They are NOT Navy! They are more of a Harbor blue, Cornflower or French blue. The white is white, not ivory but not optic white. Just a great pop of white. I’m going to pair with sand tones in the entry. Red, white and blue in guest room and blue and white in my office. I’m getting tons of compliments. Price was excellent! 3 wool carpets for $*** and change! Deal. Big selection of sizes and colors.

Like it but don’t love it

I ordered an 8 x 10 silver and grey rug. It does not look silver or grey. It looks lavender. It could be the lighting in my room, or my light colored hardwood floors but the color doesn’t look silver. It also looked a little dirty, I couldn’t tell if it is the fabric or if it was a returned rug that somebody had down for a month? The ivory sides look a little worn in some places. Several people have said the same things so maybe it’s just my lighting. Still trying to decide if I’ll keep it.

Beautiful rug, super heavy to move around, thick, and beautiful. I bought silver and gray, the white kinds looked cream to me. Some spots looked like it was dirty so not sure if it is or just the fabric. I gave it a 4 star because I vacuumed the rug 5 times and each time, my entire vacuum dust holder is filled with the material. But when I sit on the rug, it’s not like the material is loose and gets on me so not sure what’s going on here. I found that after vacuuming it a few times a piece of the rug became loose. I’ll probably have to cut it off or something to avoid the entire thing coming apart. Also, the rug isn’t soft, it’s wool so I knew that was going to happen. Overall, beautiful.

Very eye-popping in black and white!

Bought a large, black and white Cambridge Lucindy for our black and white living room. Looks fabulous. Very eye-popping with our black baby grand, white urns and fireplace lions and a black and white checked love seat. The rug is VERY heavy and very fabulous looking. Came earlier than expected, just in time for company to see. Wish I knew how to download the picture as it looks great. Would recommend, but it is eye-popping, so know how to coordinate your room!

I love the design of this area rug and the pile thickness. However, it sheds horribly. I don't have any pets but it appears that I have a dog or cat that sheds. It's awful because of the shedding. Overstock was very understanding so I'm in the process of returning this item for a full refund and have already ordered another black and white area rug from Overstock (item number: 33222967 ), and hope it is a better rug. Thanks Overstock. Stay tuned for my review of the aforementioned rug.

Absolutely Georgous and Plush

This rug is more beautiful in person. You don't see the depth of the white and blue scroll design. I have it as a hallway rug and got another for the dining room. Very elegant and expensive looking! The only con is that you need to vacuum often but I imagine after a while the white fluff will settle down.

We got rid of this rug

When this rug first arrived I was so excited. We did the light blue and cream colored one. No matter how much we vacuumed it always looked dirty (it was under our bed in our bedroom) and the fibers it was made of were EVERYWHERE in our house, stuck to our feet, on all of our clothes. Nothing we did helped. I was packing for a trip and vacuumed the room 3x in 3 hours and it was still all over everything I was putting in my bag. We also were concerned it was causing us to be sick because we were breathing the fibers in. They would be loose around the house, but also clump up kind of like dust bunnies. I do not recommend this product at all.

Excellent Quality, Plush feel, worth the money!

I am in love with this carpet. Its wonderful quality. Thick. Plush under my feet. I am using it in my master bathroom and it looks perfect against my new grey flooring. I will add that up close it has loose fibers. Makes it look like a twead if your super close. I dont mind. Not noticeable from distance. If this rug holds up. I will definitely be buying more.

Low Quality Item - Fibers Showing - Photos

After 1 year of use, the backer fibers within the black area of this carpet are coming to the surface, giving it a "heathered" look. You cannot vacuum them away. They will not disappear. The background of the carpet is supposed to be black...not so much anymore. I am going to attempt a refund, as a carpet should last much longer without any issues. This is clearly a low-quality item manufactured with inferior materials.

Never looks clean

I have only had this rug two months and it has started to fray. The threads are coming right out in one area. There is a small but noticeable hole and the slightest pull and they keep coming out. I called yesterday to see if Overstock would stand behind their product but was very disappointed to hear they would only exchange it before thirty days. The nice person on the phone was only able to give me a $ credit and free shipping toward a new rug. Being that I really do like the look and feel of this rug, I purchased another. I’m hoping to have better luck with the new one. Still, very unlikely to purchase with Overstock again. I would not recommend to a friend! Update:My new rug is shedding and never looks clean. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

I’ve had this rug for several years. The first one I received had an irregular pattern so I had to return it and Overstock sent a replacement. The rug pattern is beautiful. In fact for a black and white rug, I think it is one of the best ones available. I’ve always had wool rugs, so I’m familiar with their shedding habit. With that said, regrettably, I’ve never had a rug shed like this one. Ever. Still. Like I said, I love the pattern of this stunning rug, but if you put it on dark wood floors, you will see your rug everywhere.

I read the reviews before I purchased. I read that some people thought it was more of a purple/grey and some didn’t. I liked the rug so much I decided to purchase it anyway, hoping it was a true silver/grey. Got it delivered, I didn’t even get it unwrapped all the way. It does have purple undertones to it. Wasn’t what I was looking for, wanted a true grey/silver color. That’s why I gave it four stars, I have purchased many Safavieh (love this brand) rugs in my house, they are all very nice rugs that wear well. This one also looked like it was a well made, nice rug. Just not the color I wanted.
