I love the rug , great quality. If your a woman I must warn you it pretty heavy. In the pic I uploaded is the rug unopened in the white plastic. , I ordered 2 buy accident just to give you an idea how it arrives.

Rug leaves wool everywhere

The rug looks great in the room, however it has not stopped shedding since I put it down! The white hairs mean the room has to be vacuumed frequently. Looks like the picture but would not recommend.

Great selection of colors and sizes

This rug was the perfect color and size for the spot where I wanted to place it. Since my house has an open floorplan I wanted rugs that were the same color and pattern throughout the first floor. There were many sizes and shapes to choose from.

Dirty. Yellow, not ivory

This rug was beautiful online. I just received it and I think it is either old and used, or very misrepresented online. It is pale blue and yellow, and clashes with my ivory sofas and linen colored furniture. Ivory should not clash with ivory and linen colors. It's smoker yellow. All the edges of the rug are clean and ivory (see last picture). When rolled over to see the sides and back in contrast to the middle sections of the rug. The top is yellowed and patchy.

Gorgeous and Elegant!

I love these rugs! I ordered 3 of them for various rooms in my house, and they are beautiful. The coloring is just perfect, combining soft, light blue with rich, creamy ivory. The white part is a bit raised from the blue part, which I think is really neat - just something to be aware of. These rugs do shed like crazy, so expect to fill your vacuum canister with carpet lint every time you vacuum.

Meh. Got the yellow/white which is really a creamy sort of white. It is NOT holding up well. It is shedding and only looks good the moment after vacuuming. It is in our upstairs hallway where our dog doesn't even go (he can't do stairs) and yet it is just not good quality. Really disappointed. We have dark stained hardwood floors and there are tiny fibers everywhere from this rug. Would NOT recommend.

I love this rug. I have a huge oddly shape room with hardwood floors. I needed something that would add color and texture. It is beautiful. This is my second time purchasing the rug. My pet stained the first one and could not see the room without it; so I repurchased. The color is spot on to the pictures and very heavy- which I equate to the quality of the material. Just beautiful

This is our 2nd similar design rug from Safavieh. We have the same one in blue and LOVE IT so decided to get another one for a separate room. It fits the theme of my gathering room . These rugs are absolutely beautiful and even look so much better in-person, super thick and heavy - So durable - the highest quality. Make sure to vacuum it after install and there won't be any shredding. They don't get dirty easily and don't stain at least from my experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

The rug is thick and comfortable and definitely warms the room. The picture is accurate. However, it sheds like crazy. There are tiny wool fibers and large wool clumps all over the floor (we call them dust sheep, instead of bunnies) , so it needs to be vacuumed really frequently. I have another rug that shed similarly and eventually stopped, so I'm hopeful for this one, too. I've had it for 9 months.

Awful. Rug came discolored and looked filthy. A lot of black and blue wool mixed in so the white didn't look clean. There were little hot pink spots as if someone had marked it with a pink highlighter. Yellowing, as well. Customer service gave me a replacement rug after I returned the first and the second rug was even worse. Two friends have had issues with this brand as well. Shocked that this rug has decent reviews, don't waste your money.

Update-12/2018 Almost a year and it still looks great - holds up to light foot traffic and a large dog.- Carpet shedding has stopped and the colors still look new. Definitely a great purchase!! This rug is exactly as it appears online. The color is fresh and springy! Not too green and not too muted either. The pile is perfect a little cushion and soft on your feet. Love the modern pattern. Came well wrapped ~~ its'a good thing because the delivery guy did not like hauling it to my door. I heard a big thud as he pretty much threw it against my front door.!! ~~ This will go great in my office. Perfect price and even better I had a discount code! Saved quite a bit of money so now I can buy some other items. Love Overstock!!

Challenge made simple

We ordered this rug for our living room and I was concerned about buying something without seeing it in person but it was beautiful and good quality. However it was discolored on the border. Overstock sent a replacement right away and picked up the stained one. Unfortunately the replacement went to an old address in my account apparently. Again Overstock sent out a replacement right away and sent UPS to pick up the wrong address one. Much to my dismay this new replacement had a puncture hole in it right smack dab in the middle. I called and spoke to *** who was sympathetic and very very helpful. She took care of everything and compensated me for my trouble so I'm very happy. I just hope this next replacement is defect free because I love this rug. It couldn't have been made easier for me. Thank you ***. Less

received damaged, quickly sent second rug

received a 10x14 wool rug today with a hole punched in it. contacted overstock and I have to have this 90lb. rug wrapped in dirty wet plastic laying in our entrance way for 10 days until fedex inspects it. overstock reply is we're sorry for any inconvenience. well that doesn't move this huge rug. Received second rug quickly in perfect condition. Thanks for the quick turnaround.

Stay away!!!

I normally read reviews to buy anything, but don't write one. This is an exception, this is the worst purchase I ever did, I wish I listen to the previous reviews about how much this rug sheds. It's horrible!, I made this purchase around two months ago and still sheds tremendously. I have an open floor plan and have the rug in the living room, the shed is even in the kitchen and nook. A waste of money. Also, is not a dark grey as is described, is truly a blue grayish. Total regret! The one star is only because there's no an option for none.

Disappointed

We purchased for my daughters bedroom. It arrived packaged very well. When we rolled it out it had a few stains on it but with moving we didn't feel like rolling it back up and sending it back. It sheds ALOT! We just keep vacuuming! **I am editing this review after 3 more months. I am really disappointed in this rug. When we 1st received it had a few dirty spots on the cream part of the rug. We dealt with it bc I didn't want to deal with sending it back. As time has gone on, there are more and more dirty spots coming up. My daughter isn't in her room very much and we don't have pets. The stains look like the ones that were there when we first opened the rug. So they just keep coming out. I'm really bummed and if it were not so long after the return policy I would send it back. Shedding is less but this brand new rug looks like it has stains all over it. Just beware if you see when first opening the rug that there could be more as time goes on. Less

This is my 4th Safavieh purchase from Overstock. First of all, I ordered it one day and it appeared the next day. That could just be my geographic location, but I couldn't have gotten it home that fast if I purchased it locally and free shipping to boot. This rug is absolutely stunning! Plush under foot, beautiful beige/taupe. I was of course a little hesitant to get this rug for my living room but I am so happy. I looked online for almost a year. I kept putting items on my wish list and then deleting them. This is the one I felt would work and I was not wrong. I would buy it again in a minute! Overstock.com is the best, you cannot beat this quality and price anywhere. Kudos to Overstock.

Nice but colors not true to picture

This is a nice visually elegant rug but prickly to sit on. The grey has a tinge of robins egg blue in it and the white is not brilliant white as in the picture; it is more beige. The result is (depending on the rest of your decor) the white in the rug can look dinghy even when the rug is brand new. This beige-white becomes more of an issue if the rug is used more on one side than the other e.g. we have it under the coffee table and it is obvious on the side near the couch (we have had the rug around 6 months). Also if you are considering purchasing this rug I hope you have a vacuum cleaner because it sheds like an extra-fluffy golden retriever for about 4 months. Having said all that I like the rug and will just have to shampoo it a bit more than usual.

Definitely recommend... But with some reservation.

I'm really happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy it again! However, there are a couple little things I don't love about it. First of all, it's listed as being hand-tufted but only the cream part is actually hand-tufted... The blue is flat and appears to be hand-hooked. I was disappointed that it was falsely advertised because I was specifically looking for something hand-tufted. Also, while the cream part is very soft, the blue part is very itchy when sitting on the rug. Lastly, this rug sheds A LOT at the beginning (which I believe is true for all wool rugs) but definitely something to keep in mind. The more you vacuum it though, the less it sheds - but it started off filling my entire vacuum canister each time I vacuumed it when I first got it. Overall, I do really like this rug regardless of the issues I have with it. The color is beautiful and I get compliments on the rug all the time! Less
