Looks great but sheds so much

the rug looks beautiful and feels thick and plush, 10/10 for the look. However, it has been about a year since we bought the rug and it has not stopped shedding!! Omg it sheds so much I see little fur balls of it everywhere, everyday. When I vacuum the rug, so much gets sucked up sometimes fills the entire stick vacuum canister. Think twice before you buy.

I love this rug! I do recommend a rug pad to keep it from moving. We have wood floors, added he pad and it's perfect now . I would by it again

Very well made! Love the hi-low pile on this rug and the color is as pictured. My husband didn’t think he would like the braided tassels but agrees they add interest to the rug. I highly recommend!!

Great rug

I love the way this rug looks, simple with a little boho. I did put a rug pad under it and do not have issues with it moving. It does shed quite a bit at first, but after a few weeks of vacuuming it has stopped.

Overall I'm happy with it. I purchased this for under the dining table I wanted a color and style to coordinate with the other Safavieh Casablanca rug I purchased, but cheaper so I wouldn't be devastated if the kids inevitably spilled on it (and darker so it wouldn't show stains as much). Slightly thinner than I expected. It's more like a cotton flat weave but still nice.

Great color, textures, and overall look

The quality seems really good. Really nice variety of textures. The color is exactly as the picture. Soft and comfortable to walk on with bare feet. My cat loves playing on this rug. The only thing is this rug definitely needs a rug mat because it does move around even if it's anchored by furniture.

Silver grey is not very grey

Love this rug but the color is not as shown in the picture. Online the silver grey is a dark grey but the rug is actually a very light grey almost cream color.

Completely wrong color; no cust. service available

Our rug arrived just this morning and immediately we knew something was wrong. On the package it said the color was 'silver' which is exactly what we ordered. Opened it up to find the rug most definitely beige and NOT 'silver' in anyway, and definitely did not match the online picture of silver. However, I think this was a mistake from the manufacturer because the sticker on the back of the rug said silver too! So I can't really blame Overstock for scanning a tag that said 'silver' and shipping it accordingly. But what is the QC process over at Safavieh? I'm color blind and I can clearly see that what arrived is not 'silver'. The next problem though is this: it was ordered during the great COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020 and apparently Overstock has zero customer service availability during this time. The phone numbers will provide automation only, but say their employees have been switched to chat and text support. I understand this, but when I tried the chat feature, it said it was completely unavailable also. So no phone nor chat option now. So I tried texting.... preloaded responses to direct you to the right person do not accurately represent my situation, and after several hours so far, still no response. The color doesn't match our room at all, but trying to re-package and ship an 8x10 rug myself after already waiting 2 weeks to receive is a frustrating process to have to go through. I'll accept a massive discount as an option, but since that is not an automated response option, i need to speak to someone which is impossible at the moment. So I'm basically screwed and stuck with the wrong rug that i paid a ton of money for. Awesome! See the attached images for the online picture of the 'silver' and the actual received 'silver' rug. Rather disappointed. As for the rug itself, very soft and looks great (overall, not the color with our room decor). I really dig the textures and different weave patterns. I think it will be a great addition to anyone's decor.... provided you can actually get the color you want. I would have ranked lower if the rug itself were not as nice as it is.

I got the neutral/beige color for under my bed, and it is dreamier than I anticipated. It immediately added softness and much needed texture to the room. On the downside, I think the braided tassels are a bit too thick. They make the rug lean more youthful/kitsch than hygge/modern. I do think this can be balanced in the room though. Unfurled nicely and lays flat. No weird smells. Doesn't shed. Highly recommend a rug pad if you aren't planning to anchor it under a large piece of furniture.

I really do like the quality of this rug. However, I ordered the 'grey' color and it is MUCH darker than the color pictured in the photo of the gray rug so I will be returning.
