Love this rug! It was pretty wrinkled but a few hours with heavy furniture on top straightened it out. Only giving one star short of 5 just because it’s had a pretty strong smell and isn’t as soft as I hoped. Would buy again though!

Just what I wanted

I ordered the 7 foot round rug for my family room, under my coffee table. I needed a pop of color over a new beige/brown carpeting. The colors were true to the picture shown. It's exactly what I wanted and I love it. I just ordered a runner to match, for the high traffic area near the doorway.

beautiful colored plush carpet

this is a very nice carpet, rich colors and very plush. BUT it is not squared correctly, the 2 ends are not at a 90 degree corner. I even returned the original carpet and got a replacement, and that was the same. So obviously someone at the factory is not taking care to cut them correctly and bind them evenly. It is also not 8 feet across, but it works okay in my office area.

Safavieh and Overstock excellent pairing

Safavieh rugs are very good quality and from Overstock, the price is always right. This rug was just as advertised. Nice dark sage green and the flowers are not overwhelming. They add just the right amount of contrast. Very pleased.

Not accurately described, seems to be a "second"

The carpet color is not sage green, it is closer to an olive green. It might have worked except that the background color isn't consistent. At first I thought it was just that the nap was ruffled but repeated vacuuming didn't even it out. The item I received will be returned.

This is a nice rug, with vibrant colors and definitely a comfortable rug to walk on. The green is a rich olive color and the red is dark, almost more of a red brown and the colors all go together, rich deep colors, elegant not bright. I don't think I will put a rug pad underneath it because it is relatively heavy and doesn't appear to want to slide around.

Bedside rug

Very nice rug. We put a carpet pad under our rug to make it softer to step out on. The rug is very rice looking. I'd buy it again. This vacuum up nicely. I bought this brand before knowing I wouldn't be disappointed

PRETTY BUT WON'T LAY FLAT

This is my 5th Safavieh rug in my home, yet the most challenging. I ordered the 8 foot runner for the kitchen in front of the main sink. I love the colors and pattern, beautiful for the fall winter season. My main negative is the way the rug is rolled from the manufacturer. I'm having problems with the corners not laying down, definitely a trip hazard, coupled with the crimped edged where the rolling began. I wish the rugs were rolled, pattern on the outside and a cardboard tube was used. You could always add a paper cover to prevent any fading during transit or storage. I have steamed the corners and crimped edge several times and put heavy books down. This is day 3 and the edges are still curling. Not thrilled.

Beautiful aesthitics and functionality

This is my second purchase of a Safavieh rug. I bought one for my living room several months ago and this one is in my dinning room. They are beautiful, thick, and soft providing both aesthetic beauty and durable functionality. I will buy another of these when I complete the decor in my family room.

Loaded with fold marks

I was very disappointed in the appearance of the rug. There are so many folds in the rug that I wonder if they are going to come out. The rug arrived folded which left a big fold mark in it along with the many marks from being rolled. Not sure I will buy another rug from Overstock. I may end up returning the rug. The rug itself is beautiful but at this point doesn't look very nice.

Beautiful

This rug was great I would have given it 5 stars due to the smell, but after two days the smell was gone. It was also very hard to flatten because of being rolled up for so long, but to fix that I put books all around the rug overnight for two days, and believe it or not it worked just fine. Anywhere the rug needed flattened I put the weight of about three books stacked high there, and it will soon became flattened all over. Be patient!

Nice rug with Fall colors

This rug was a nice price for the size. It reminds me of Thanksgiving with some dashes of light gray/blue and swooshes of black to offset the warm color palette. The main color green is similar to artichoke. I think it would look great if I painted my room a hudson bay navy. There is a lot of beige variation in the rug, and it might not have the punch some want if their room is already a light neutral. The pile isn't quite as high as I thought, but with a pad under it's really nice.

Lovely rug so works with my home Farmhouse Decor!

I purchased runner option of this rug to place in an area between the livingroom sofa and coffee table. The description of this item was accurate and the measurements were spot on. I was concerned the "oriental" description would not go with my Farmhouse theme furniture. Not a problem, the rug pattern of vibrant gold and burgundy flowers with green background work beautifully with my decor. Only reason reason for four star rating is it took some time to remove the lines from rug as it was rolled up when shipped. A couple of heavy duty hardback books solved that issue over time. I do recommend backing pad if used in high traffic area, the rug has tendency to slide around when walking on it.

Absolutely gorgeous rug! I received lots of compliments online after posting this photo. The color was exactly what I imagined. The 5x5 round fits perfectly under our small kitchen table and chairs. I purchased multiple large area rugs on O that day and then bought a large roll of actual carpet padding from my local home improvement store to protect them. I lined all edges with heavy duty carpet tape to keep them in place. Momma and Milo approve!

It looks great !! but not all good....

Lets start off with I think it's just beautiful !! Feels very plush. The only problem is the lack of care rolling the rug up. I started to unroll it and it was pinched, squeezed over onto itself and has really prominent creases. I hope if I lay it in the sun the backing will relax and all the creases will smooth out. So at this point I can't put it down or put the room together until it smooth out.... Crossed fingers !!

When I received my rug, I was so excited. I unrolled it and found that the size was right-on. The feel was so soft that my grandchildren wanted to sleep on it- and go barefoot. The time came when I needed to clean it. So using a mild soap, I shampooed it. Sorry to say, but when it dried, the softness was gone but the colors are as bright as ever. I would recommend.

Beautiful Rug

Purchased for the front door and it is holding up great to traffic. Minimal shedding. It is priced well for quality. The colours are all warm tones, predominantly olive. The red is like a warm cranberry. The style blends well with traditional to less formal as I would call my decor Transitional from classic to a more laid back feel with touches of the latest farmhouse style.

This rug was perfect for my dining room. I have a wood table with wood and leather chairs that look perfect with these colors. So glad I got the 8' as the chairs can move away from the table and still be on the rug. The material is soft and there is no smell as there often is with rugs. I had to let it unwrinkle when I unwound it from the packaging, but that only took about three days.

This rug is prettier than the picture shows.....the floral print is larger which I love. I have a soft floral print sofa and this rug goes perfectly. The sage green is a little darker but that's because it has different shades throughout which gives a rich color. Once rolled out, it did have a few ripples and one deep crease.....but followed directions and put books on all corners and on the deep crease for a few days and it smoothed out everything. It looks great.....love my purchase! Placed in my great room/living room
