Cozy, all-cotton light blanket

Waffle-weave, all-cotton blankets are perfect for Florida weather. This one is cozy, fits the bed nicely and just the right color. Right of out the package it appeared thin, and had an odd smell. But once through the washer and dryer removed the odor and fluffed up the fibers. It shrank quite a bit, as expected. I ordered a King size for my Queen size bed so I don't have to fight my spouse for the covers. The threads seem to pick or pull easily. That is my only concern. But for the price, it is a great find.

I am very satisfied with the quality of the product, but linen manufacturers have not taken into consideration that mattresses are much taller now. It is almost impossible to find a mattress under 10-inches tall. The size standards manufacturers are using to categorize linens are just inadequate. A 90 x 108 inch blanket does not fit a king size mattress anymore--it would fit a queen size mattress better. King size blankets need to be much larger. I really like the blanket, but at least 10 more inches both vertically and horizontally would provide a much better fit. Manufacturers can do better, and they should have already realized this.

This is the most awesome blanket I have owned. I absolutely love it, my body is breathing under it. The quality and fabric of the blanket is fabulous.
