Try this elevated dinner plate!

We have changed all of our girls’ over to elevated dishes because it’s a more natural and comfortable eating posture. The CDS (cat distribution system) found us and we needed a new dinner dish for Victoria. I chose this dish for its height and plate design. With the plate as tilted and wide as it is her whiskers won’t get crushed and the food stays in the middle instead of getting pushed off to the side.

My cat is 16 and this dish is on a bit of a pedestal, and it is perfect for her. She cannot bend down very easily and she can comfortably eat from this bowl. Also, the bowl is not deep so once again perfect for her reach. Also the material is ceramic , I think, and very easy to clean as well. I will probably order another one since I have 2 cats and both are seniors. The fact it is easy to clean and food does not get caught in the rim is super convenient for me to keep it clean. Great product!

Necoichi tilted raised cat bowl 2 cups

Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful dish and well made but first it doesn’t hold 2 cups of food as advertised! I put less then a cup of food in and still could keep it in the dish as there is no real lip at the bottom and all the dry food just comes out the bottom! I added even less and why the cats are trying to eat they push even more out as they take bites. Would have been a great dish had it any kind of lip to keep the food in but sadly dry food just slips out of the porcelain. Maybe be ok if your using wet food but then I would not have needed a bowl for 2 cups as that would be a waste, not to mention I add liquid to my wet to make sure they are getting enough moisture and that would just come out. Waste of a dish and sending it back!

Works if you're tired of cleaning cat puke

Haven't had to clean up cat puke since i've switched bowls. My cat is a fast eater and shovels down food as quick as you put it in her bowl and she has no interest in those puzzle bowls to slow her down. Thebonly thing that's changed is her bowl so I can only attribute this to the reason why there's no more puke. I wish it came with a screw on top bowl so i can just clean that instead of the whole thing but as long as it works I'm happy.

Bogie’s puking problems were much alleviated with the use of Necoichi’s wider and higher raised ceramic food bowl. The bowl was thoughtfully made with cat’s preference to ceramic rather than plastic or metal and the bowl’s wider circumference serves to both eliminate messiness and cater to whisker sensitive kitties. Bogie’s tummy problems have been 90% curtailed with the use of this bowl and additionally rationing his wet meal into thirds with a 20 min wait time between portions. Yes - difficult to do when in the clock but not impossible once you get into the swing.
