I cashed in my air miles witch took me forever to save up for this model and I was scared at first that I hope I didn’t waste all my money and time collecting my air miles redeeming them for this, I decided to take the risk because my big oven in my house just stopped working but my god I’m so thankful I did because I completely love this machine and the way it cooks my pizza and food just perfect and the way I love it best purchase I’ve made in a long time this machine deserves 5 stars. I will keep buying from salton forever and great and fast customer service.

To early to tell

Purchased today and unboxed the unit. Unit is very well packed. Read through instructions and was not impressed as instructions are minimal at best. One would think at this price point the instructions would be more detailed. The manual included doesn't show where or how the included accessories fit together. Did the initial burn in to remove any factory oil and odors using the air fry function, and aside from a 17min timer does not tell you how long to preheat the oven before inserting your food into the oven. My $49.00 air fryer does this! I have many years experience in preparing pizza's and was looking forward to making neapolitan pizza inside rather than using my wood burning outdoor oven. I initially set the oven at the wood burning setting,(800 degrees) and let the oven preheat for the required time. Once ready, I measured the inside temperature with my heat gun to be just over 700 degrees. Disappointing! Although better than my kitchen oven, it's not the over 800 degrees advertised by the Salton company. On top of this, I did find the fan to be very noisy. Next I will try to cook a neapoliton pizza and see if the suggested 3min cook time will be enough compared to a 90 second cook on my outdoor oven. Hopefully the result will be satisfactory.... or the unit will be returned.

Update to my last review. Made my first Neapolitan pizza and results were impressive. Pizza did cook in 3 minutes! Happy with results so far. Bought this unit strictly for pizza.

Good oven with nice extra features

Nice little pizza oven that doubles as an airfryer. I would prefer if it came with an actual square pizza stone that makes up the whole oven area instead of a round cast iron griddle. It really limits the real estate space. It also doesn’t come with the pizza peel, it is essential? No but it makes it that much less enjoyable to work your pizza in and out the oven. It is a pizza oven afterall. If they would fix that it would definitely be a 5 star.

Great For Pizza Making

Very good for pizza making. The cast iron pizza platter is a much better idea than a pizza stone. Easier to clean and will not break.

We got the oven as a gift and it exceeded our expectations! A bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out it will become a weekend ritual!

More than a great Pizza Oven

This is so much more than a pizza oven, that cooks pizzas to perfection. We also use it daily as a toaster, and it toasts the bread evenly. The air fryer feature is so convenient, and I'm really impressed with the results.

Loaded with features

This beast is loaded with features. Not only is it an airfryer/toaster/broiler but it also gets hot enough (800 degrees!) to cool a freshly-made pizza! My only complaint is that the loud beeps that result from every press of a button cannot be muted. Otherwise, very happy.
