[Rewarded Review] Veradek Mason Series Kona Bowl 14" Plastic-Stone P

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this planter. Its construction is sturdy, the sides and bottom are thick, and there are two penny-sized holes at the bottom for drainage. It's elegant in its simplicity.

Madon Kona Bowl Planter 14"

We were searching for something to transplant some succulents we purchased last spring and found this. It was exactly what we wanted as it is safe for both indoors and outdoors. We are pleased with the planter and complimented it with the 10" tray. They aren't designed to work together however we think they are great.

Great for succulent plants

I bought those pots for me succulent plants. My succulents grew over the summer and need their own space. The post are great, materials is amazing. They will resist winter if you buy these as outdoor plots.

Love these hanging planters. Very basic look that you can dress up with any plant. Big enough to fit two or three in them, depending on size and look you want. Easy to water and they hold a good amount without leaking. Overall good quality find

Classic, clean look, high quality

Very well made, nice details, streamlined aesthetic. The bowl is a thick material and very sturdy. I prefer the hanging wires versus chains for the look and the wires are coated so they won't rust and they have a unique way of connecting to the bowl and the hook. It will be much easier to store them for the winter and not have chains getting tangled up. I bought 3 for my front porch and when it gets warm enough (here in WI), I'll get them planted and hung!

I like the item but I only received one. I was supposed get 2. And now I'm looking at the picture and it shows 2 with foliage in the planter. Was I supposed get the foliage? I would like to know. And the item that I received was just 1 big bowl planter. Is there two different items? One as a set of 2 planter with foliage and one without anything in it?

These are just perfect, strong, large, and think walls. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this product. I would highly recommend this planter. Perfect size, and depth.

Meh. I needed a large succulent planter for my snake plant. The size and shape are good. Overall, I’m disappointed. The planter looks cheap. I thought it would look more like cement or stone given the description. It’s plastic!

Great product, not stone finish

These are plastic pots. Very high quality, thick, plastic pots. The fact that there is some amount of stone mixed in doesn’t change that fact. They look nothing like stone. Wish veradek would just get rid of that marketing jargon. You make amazing plastic pots at great prices that aren’t made in China! Not much more marketing needed than that!

Very nice bowl. Perfect to put on an outside table. You can load it up with different flowers. I put purple daylilies in mine.

The perfect blend of form AND function. Made out of a sturdy thick plastic in a gorgeous modern flat black finish these will accent my brick perfectly. Very pleased with the quality - especially the hanging cables which are a coated thick gauge wire. Very easy to assemble!

Veradek outdoor pots are GREAT!

I have bought Veradek outdoor pots for 3 -4 years and have 23 of various sizes & shapes. I love them all. They get SC 95-100 degree heat in the summer and get a two weeks or more of 10-20 degree cold in winter. Drainage is great. They are placed in saucers or on gravel, never directly on the soil. I highly recommend them. Shipment is fast in substantial boxes.

Modern and versatile

Sturdy and thick. I chose to use them as succulent bowls oppoas to hanging them. Very modern and well made for the seasons. Well worth the price.

I love this planter. It is huge for my very large golden pothos who needed a new home. It's lightweight, looks great hung up or just sitting on a table. Would definitely recommend and purchase more from this brand.

As they arrived just today, I have yet to plant the Kona Bowls with spring bulbs. I can't say enough good things about Veradek products. They are attractive, lightweight, study, unbreakable, and impervious to the salt air here on the coast. I'm very happy with them and plan on purchasing more as we expand the deck.

Love these planter bowls - they are well made, the perfect size, and the price was excellent for the quality! Will absolutely buy from this brand again, and the pricing on Houzz was better than all competitors when I purchased.

Unfortunately, I ordered 4 pots and none of them came with the holes in them that were supposed to be there for hanging. I was offered a 40% discount by Wayfair and when I asked for 50% (because I had to spend two hours drilling the holes including purchasing a special masonry drill bit to get through the composite material) I was told that the manufacturer would give more of a discount. Please keep this in mind if you are considering buying from this brand and/or from Wayfair.

it's definitely more plasticy looking than I'd hoped. And the bottom is not attractive at all. I had planned to hang it high. I would have liked to have a picture of the bottom as well. But it's very well made and the hook and cables are just what I expected. I'll find a different use for it. Somewhere low enough that the bottom isn't visible.
