Great replacement awning! Perfect fit.

The quality of the material was great. It was exactly what we were looking for. It fit perfectly. The cord for the fringe/flap on the front was too small to hold the material in place. We had not yet disposed of the old awning and front fringe/flap so we used the cord that was in that. Simple solution. So as a word of caution, hang onto the old awning just in case this happens to you!

Edited to add: We ordered another size of the same brand and within 9 months the awning fabric has *completely* faded in the areas where it's consistently exposed. Ridiculous. Came with some *** was definitely not the size advertised. Our awning was over 1.5 feet larger in width and 10 inches shorter in depth than advertised (after accounting for the size difference that Aleko website is clear to expect). Colors (we ordered red/multi) were lovely, and would have been a perfect fit. Our awning is not a Sunsetter, has a white frame, and it appears that Aleko awnings will not fit our retractable awning (as even a 12x10 would be too large).

Please read the ending of my review. I would say this product was just ok. It was about what I expected, for the price ($***). Delivery took two weeks (typical during COVID). The material not quite as good as the original, but adequate. There was missing tube inserts for the valance (there were inserts for the main awning only). I just used the tube inserts from the original fabric. Some of the stitching on the valance was poor (hanging threads that I cut them off so the kids wouldn't pull on them). Also, I ordered the red/mixed color but they incorrectly sent me the red/white one. Be careful what you are clicking on their webpage. My worst complaint is a tear on the main awning material. Obviously, the material was caught on a machine edge during manufacturing. They just tied the frayed ends of the threads together and dabbed some glue on it (my picture is poor as I am taking it from the underside/backside of the tear and from a distance. I didn't want to get my ladder out again just to take a picture). I guess quality control at ALEKO is lacking. Overstock says they don't accept returns on this item. So, buyer beware.
