WARNING DO NOT BUY

Bought these chairs because the photos looked great. The colors pictured were not what we received, there we no holes to build the furniture and it also REEKED of chemicals! DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER!!!

So bad.. damaged, unfinished, lazy product.

Chairs came damaged in the box upon delivery. Large scratches and dings all over. The bottom of the seats aren’t finished either, just lazily wiped with some stain on the edges but most of it is left unfinished with marker lines on it. They’re so awful I didn’t bother to put them together and will return asap.

Gorgeous but very difficult to build

Absolutely GORGEOUS chairs WHEN you get them set up. Instructions were almost impossible for myself to do, my husband had to drill our own holes in the seat part. The lines didn't line up at all. But once we kind of took over and made them, they turned out so pretty and expensive looking. Just beware if you don't have help or good tools.

To buy or not to buy?? Don't buy it. The holes never matched up and we are elderly and simply don't have the skills to fix this. The seat is always wobbly and embarrassing. We are on a fixed income and were really hoping for superior quality. It seems every AMerican company is easily fooled into buying IMPORTED TRASH made of unknown composites. We all buy cheap stuff, but skip this as you will only feel disappointment and shame.

Screws keep falling out

A West Elm "look for less" that I love...BUT when I'm on my 4th time of putting the screws back into the base, it's not worth it. After the third time I went ahead and put super glue on the screws and they STILL came out a week later. These chairs get used maybe once a day and the screws just wiggle themselves out after about a week, it's crazy. My next solution is to use "liquid nails" on ever surface the seat connects to the chair. After that, I honestly don't know what else to do.

Nice chairs but serious assembly flaws

The chairs look nice but, as other reviewers noted, have serious manufacturing errors and the directions are impossible to follow. I had to drill holes myself in order to make assembly possible. If you are decently handy and have put together a lot of furniture, you'll probably be ok, but be prepared to figure out assembly yourself and have a drill handy.

Would definitely buy again

Love these chairs!!! They were delivered earlier than expected, very easy to put together, look beautiful and they are super comfortable!! No doubt I’m happy with this purchase.

Chair purchase

I ordered this table and chair set from another company and it was missing 2 chairs. I remembered the great service from Overstock and found the exact chairs. I brought the set of two. I made my great granddaughter extremely happy for her first apartment. Great quality.

Save yourself the trouble

I read reviews saying there were manufacturing errors and it was impossible to put together. I ordered thinking that they just had a defect and couldn't follow instructions. Nope. The instructions are nearly impossible to follow, and yes, the seats are missing drill holes. If I were a furniture craftsman I would just make my own furniture and not have to order from overstock. Ridiculous! Returning. Unless you are extremely handy, do not order these. Even if you're handy, you're gonna trip over these terrible instructions. If you order, good luck!

Instructions were different than the pieces in person. The legs and seats were missing holes to be able to attach them to each other.

Great chairs

Beautiful walnut chairs, wide seat, comfortable. Easy to assemble, only needed a screwdriver. Similar chairs available for much higher prices. Very happy with this purchase :)

Worst ever

Doesn’t even deserve a star. Save yourself a trip from returning and don’t even buy it. Weak and breaks apart on first use. It’s a hazard!

Looks nice but manufacturing error

I love the way these look but there is a manufacturer fault. The place where you are supposed to screw the seat to the chair has no acre holes. So we are just going to have to get a drill and do it ourselves. Also , they are pretty hard to assemble. I purchased 6 and one of the chairs is cracked so bad I am not even putting it together.

Stylish beautiful sturdy wooden chairs! These chairs are very comfortable with a wide base to fit your bum. I love the mid century style and color!
