Great compact security box that came with two keys.

I bought this for my grandson and his new family. I always had one, but a little heavier but I believe he will find great use for it.

Placed order it arrived dented no keys. Walmart sent replacement it arrived dented and paint chipped. Its functional so I will keep because dont want to hassle of sending back and waiting for a third one to arrive.

It was exactly what I was looking for! Size is absolutely perfect, and it is fireproof. Quality is top notch. Again, Walmart is the store that carries any and all the products we need and cant live without!!

I needed a safe , water proof container that would protect diplomas, certificates, and other important forms. The durability of this container is great, and its tough enough to not cave in- which I was impressed with considering the price! Its convenient, and even spilling water on the container, didnt damage anything inside so it has a tight seal.

Loose fitting lid is not secure

This box lid doesn't lock securely. The latch swings into a slot in the front wall, but the slot is too large to hold the lock blade securely. This means the lid can be raised and lowered as much as a half inch. With that much play, a screwdriver could be inserted and used to pop the lid open.

Excellent Service

I ordered the Steelmaster Security Box on a Tuesday evening around 8:00PM ET from Staples Service Center in North Carolina. I was advised it will be ready for pick up on Thursday at a Staples store in the Cleveland Ohio area. I was told the store would call me when FedEx delivered the product. This was the first time I ordered from Staples on line for store pick up and it won't be the last. Would highly recommend Staples to anyone who wants to work with a company that puts the "CUSTOMER" back in Customer Service!!

Solves my “important papers” need

I’ve been looking for a way to store some documents that wasn’t too big and would keep everything safe. With the assistance of a Staples associate, I determined that this was the right choice for me. I’m pleased with the size and the fact that it is fire retardant. It comes with two keys, so I can lock it and give the other key to someone for emergency purposes.

I like the box it is what I needed.

I recomand this to all.

Too small

The picture is misleading. Looks like you can lay documents flat. Inside dimensions not wide enough to do that. One more inch would do. May have to return for next size up and $30 more.

Too small for papers.

I can't use this box. It's not big enough to put papers in without them bending. Will be returning it and hopefully find a bigger size.
