I thought this was a nice, heavy gauge brass. I was concerned it might just have a "brass look" but it's authentic. The fabric is quality as well and the overall design looks great. I removed it from the package and it looks like it's in perfect shape but we won't be able to install until next week so I can't comment on installation.

Attractive, pretty
Installation was tricky, not an easy install for the average guy, some might need an electrician to put up. Hubby is a retired maintenance/ machinist had the skills to figure it out. After we got it installed , I had to help, not a one person job, we noticed it was crooked. One of the mounting screws will need to be shimmed with a washer. Once that is done we should be good.
