The set appears and feels well made. Loved the brush brass. Matches beautifully with my newly painted black exterior front door. Wish the inside handle was a bit thinner (less bulky looking) but I'll survive. I did ask the question to customer service at kwikset (NO REPONSE) whether you can change out interior handle and lock side to a different finish. (to match my all my interior bronze handles) Black front door and black or bronze handleset would ruin the look of the outside so I went with the satin gold (gorgeous) but it kind of shouts at you in the interior with my bronze hardware in other areas.
We recently painted our front door black and decided on gold accents. We installed the Kwikset San Clemente Satin Brass lockset. It is absolutely beautiful! The brushed gold finish stands out against the black paint and makes a statement for our home.
