Go easy with the screws
The hardware is great, but the screws are very delicate and it’s easy to twist off the heads. Drill deep pilot hole.

The satin brass finish is gorgeous. This Emtek latch actually matches the Signature Hardware satin brass finish better than their own latches.

Cheap screws make the item useless
The latch itself seems to be of good quality, but the screws are cheap and broke off when we attempted to attach to the cabinet. Cabinet is made of pine (a soft wood) and the holes were pre-drilled. The screws snapped off and we had to dig them out of the wood - which ruined the door. Not worth the money - not to mention the extra time and money to have the cabinet door repaired.
perfect for my new cabinets
Beautiful and substantial. Finish is perfect... looks aged without being overdone. So much of the brass hardware today has a more lemon yellow finish which I didn't want. These look like a more traditional darker brass and were perfect against my charcoal colored cabinets. Timeless.
Brass latch hardware
The screws are too thin and the hex indentations on the head of the screws are not deep enough, so when you go screw them in they strip very easily. And when you go to tighten them they break at the head, leaving the screw inside the door with no head.
Likes: Solid, feels like it will last. . Nitpicking: . Dislikes: screws are pretty small - they worked for me, though and its on tight. . The spring inside seems too long and thin. I would like something a bit meatier. It will work for a few years, I'm sure. If it failed, I would replace with a thicker, shorter spring.
Nice hardware piece
Nice hardware. Don’t always open/close it...mainly keep it out so the cabinet doesn’t fully close as I’m lazy but it’s a beautiful piece
