Great product! I bought this for a seven foot wide window. I couldnt use support in the center because of the window panes. It doesnt bend a bit! I highly recommend!

This tension rod is lovely and easier to install than others of its length. The only criticism is that the description states that the rod can hold up to 20 pounds, but the text does not make clear whether or not a hook installed into the windowsill is needed to satisfy that claim. Time will tell.

I've decided I don't like tension rods but it seems to be what you have the option to buy these days. Difficult to hang without scratching your paint when you slide one side down to lock it in.

The tension rods work really well. It’s heavy enough that a 6’ window was no problem.
