Looks nice but it's REALLY cheaply made

I ordered this Westbrass ABS P-Trap and was disappointed. It feels very brittle and material is thin. I decided to hook it up anyway to get running water in our basement while looking for something better. The joint between the pipe coming from the wall and the P-trap part would not seal properly. No amount of adjusting or tightening stopped the leaking.

Westbrass 1 1/2 inch ABS slip joint p trap in brass is so beautiful. The installer stated it was easy to work with but you must be careful when you tightened it up because it is delicate. I enclosed photos of step by step of installation. The polished brass p trap is of high quality and really looks nice.and elegant. I would definitely recommend. .

Not yet installed, but going to look great. Loads better than plastic or chrome!

The polished brass of this Westbrass slip-joint p-trap is shiny and lustrous. It is made of ABS plastic featuring a corrosion-resistant product with a nice finish. The p-trap is easily installed and the plastic allows for hand tightening only. The washers have a tight seal but also allows for easily disassembling to be able to get to any lost items that may have been washed down the drain.

the Westbrass 1 1/2 inch ABS slipjoint p-trap in polished chrome looks and functions just beautifully, which is very important where the look is just as important as the functionality .Case in point is the look of my vanity. It is very open and airy, and you can see the underpinning of the plumbing extremely well. This p-trap was a godsend, and I am extremely happy.

I ordered this ABS SLIP-JOINT P-TRAP IN POLISHED BRASS because I recently installed a new bathtub and the current P-Trap is running a little downhill. It is a very nice P-Trap and I'm surprised that it looks so much like metal when in fact it is not. It has all the necessary parts, was very easy to install and seems to be a higher quality than most P-Traps, which are very thin walled.

Great idea and design especially for exposed drains under the new pedestal style sinks. Made by WestBrass this 1 1/2 inch slip joint P-trap comes in a polished brass and chrome finish for a great finished look for your sink. Even if you don't have this exposed, it's like a little jewelry bling to your bathroom every time you open you sink cabinet. Easy to install in your existing plumbing fixtures. Inlet is 1 1/2 inch tubular. Outlet is 1 1/2 or 1 1/4 inch depending on the washer used so it can be adjusted to your need. P-trap is adjustable also. Easily retrieve those ooops my earring just went down the drain! Nice design to a usually boring item and affordable.

The Westbrass decorative polished chrome ABS P-trap and flange add flair to boring bathroom plumbing. They are especially attractive when paired with sinks that do not have cabinets. They are easy to install, come with several types of washers and fit both 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 outlets. I much prefer these shiny chrome plumbing hook-ups to the white ones you normally see.

This P-trap by Westbrass is a perfect substitute for the standard chrome plated brass tubular P-traps that are used on sink installations where appearance matters. Generally speaking, most plumbers prefer to use tubular plastic P-traps for most applications, especially ones that will not be visible under most circumstances, ie under kitchen sinks and in bathroom vanities. Of course, they are also quite inexpensive. However, for those applications where the trap will always be visible - under a pedestal sink for example, I will always use a plated tubular brass trap, either chrome or brushed nickel, for a much more finished and professional appearance. The only downside to metal P-traps is that they can eventually corrode and leak. When I saw this trap from Westbrass I just had to try it out. I used it on the main kitchen sink on a recent kitchen installation and it looks great. It has all the beauty of a chrome plated trap with the added benefit of being corrosion proof. It comes with both 1 1/2” and 1 1/4” washers to accommodate both 1 1/2” and 1 1/4” tailpieces. It also comes with a deep box escutcheon to cover the wall connection. I don’t ever see myself going back to using tubular brass after using this chrome plated ABS P-trap. 2 thumbs up! It is made in China.

I wasn't aware that they made ABS plumbing fittings in any other color except black so I was surprised when I saw this set. It certainly looks a lot more fashionable ,which would especially be useful if your bath sink has exposed plumbing.The satin finish makes it look like stainless steel yet its a fraction of the cost. Everything fits together tightly and it goes perfectly with HD's 24 inch all in one laundry set, which doesn't come with the plumbing hardware.Nice find ! Guess I better get to hitching up the water supply now!

This Westbrass 1-1/2 in. Abs Slip Joint P-Trap in chrome is great to use in your kitchen or bath. Got this one for a spare in case one of the others need fixed. Directions are easy to read and understand and simple to install. Haven't used this one yet but I'm sure we will soon enough. Always good to had a spare so you don't have to run out and get one if something happens.

The Westbrass 1-1/2 in. ABS Slip-Joint P-Trap in Polished Brass is a great product. First of all, the polished brass has a great appearance. It makes it look like gold, even though it is made of ABS plastic. The ABS plastic is corrosion resistant, which is the correct material for this application. Installation is easy, thanks for the washers and nuts included in the package. It can be used in either the kitchen or the bathroom because two washer sizes are included. Using your hand to tighten the nuts should be enough to seal the connections.
