Water flow is s but less than I desire but otherwise unit is awesome.

I wish that faucet is longer.

After putting it in and turning on the water, I heard a loud pop and saw that the casing exploded. Now I have to take it back to HD to get it exchanged because I got it online. So frustrating.

Not hot as advertised!

Easy to install and nice looking product. However, the spec regarding temperature is not correct. With the dial turned up to the maximum level, the hot water dispensed is only 180+ degrees not 210 as claimed.

I like everything about my new insinkerator.

Very pleased with the system. Easy to install. I recommend the manufacturer do a better job identifying 3 of the 4 plastic connectors location on the heater.

Instructions were not complete so you will need to use some sense in putting it all together! Also water heater will run almost frequently to keep that water hot, in its tank so you will hear it firing up where ever you install it every hour or so!

I like this model better than the Indulgel models.

I have owned (3) Indulge models, and after a short time they would malfunction in some way, usually leaking!

Insinkerator HOT250 instant hot water system provides near instant hot water. Simple pull of handle and a stream of hot water perfect for tea or hot chocolate streams out. Rocker type handle springs back to off position when released so there is no waste of hot water with an unattended faucet. Cold water side can stay running without needing to hold handle. Spout swivels 360° for use in any direction. Instructions for install very thorough and easy to both understand and to implement. Just connect water supply to base unit and then connect faucet assembly to base. Push connections on base unit for ease of installation. A simple addition of a dual outlet stop valve with a 1/4” compression fitting is all one needs for the water supply to the base unit. After plumbing install just plug base unit into 110v receptacle and the unit is set to go. (Purge air and water first per instructions). Highly recommend. Great quality. And looks great.

Failed after less than 2 years

After a year and a half, it stopped heating up all the way. After two years it started leaking and had to be disconnected.

The first word that comes to mind about this InSinkErator HOT250 instant hot and cold water dispenser is "WOW!" This thing is the answer to so many dreams. I cannot begin to describe what a wonderful product this is. It instantly dispenses water hot enough for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or any other need for hot water. The dial allows you to set the desired temperature depending on beverage needs. No more microwaving water over and over again! I cannot comment on the installation because we hired our plumber to install. We could not be happier - this is a premium product that works as, if not better than, suggested. Absolutely love this new gem - best product in our kitchen!

[Rewarded Review] Hot water at the pool house now!

I got this for a future tiki hut I'm building out by the pool. I figure this would make it easy to have hot and cold water out there. I was planning on running just 1 - 1/2" pex line out to it so I can have water to a little bar sink. With this little insta hot I can plumb it in line and BOOM! hot and cold water out buy the pool! It comes with a little tank and I don't think the small size will matter much for just rinsing glasses and little stuff when needed. I like to think outside the box on things and finding products to make my thoughts easy to achieve.

We had an instant water heater in a previous house and enjoyed it, so it was finally time to get one for this house. This one looks very nice so we went with it.

I have wanted an InSinkErator hot water dispenser for many years. I am so very happy to have one now! No more waiting for the kettle to boil for a cup of tea - even a pot of tea. The hot water is standing by!! This little faucet looks great in my kitchen, matching my dark cabinets. It sits well out of the way of the big faucet. I like how the InSinkErator can swivel, making it easy to use in different applications. The dial on the tank makes it easy to set the temperature that you want. I don't even have it all the way up and I have 183 degrees. I can reach under the sink and turn it up if I want to do so. The plumber that installed the unit for me said that it wasn't too hard to do at all, even with having to move my giant disposal to do the job. Handy homeowners might be able to do it themselves, but it was too big of a job for me. I did have to get an electrician prior, because I did not have a plug that was appropriate for the unit. All in all, one happy gal here!!!

4.5 stars. I like the single hand one more because it looks cleaner but this one isn't bad. It does dribble a little on its own which is a tad weird so keep it over the sink and don't turn it to the side. Maybe it only does it when it's boiling. Easy install, flush hot and cold for 2 mins. Hot flush will require you to hold it down for 1-2 mins before any water comes out. Within 15 mins or so you'll have hot water. I set mine to 190F and may turn it down to 130

I recently completed installation of this dispenser. Installation of the unit itself was very straightforward and easy, as the instructions provided were very clear and easy to follow. There are a number of tubes from the included faucet that you do need to inspect a bit carefully, but each physically looked different and it was reasonably clear to determine which tube went where. I would suggest that the manufacturer label each for easier connection, as well as for identification should maintenance be needed. This is the same with the tank which has none of the tube connectors labeled.
