Looks lovely and fits our items

We looked for weeks and finally found this. Just what we wanted. Not too hard to put together. But the top front board is thicker than the best of the top. Since we are not using it for a TV we are a little disappointed in that. Also, the drawers seem a little rickety when opening & closing.

Great tv stand

I actually love the tv stand for the living room. It was a bit low to the floor but other then that my smart tv 50 in fit perfectly on it and it’s not to heavy for the stand. The three drawers are great for the games and movies to be stored in as well as books and tv remotes and controllers. Definitely will buy another one for the bedrooms.

Sturdy TV stand

I like the table quite a lot. It's sturdy (and heavy) and looks neat. Almost everything as advertised although I have a few minor complaints. One of the wooden pieces had a slight dent (although it's not visible). And I wish the doors had magnets or something like that that kept the doors closed. But other than that, very solid! Maybe 4.5 stars.

Great purchase overall but consider 👇🏼

The product is stunning and matches the picture perfectly. However, assembly was quite time-consuming, taking around 2 hours, despite the provided instructions suggesting to take breaks. There were mentions of having a snack on one page and having a drink on another. Unfortunately, the included black handles are of poor quality, prompting me to consider purchasing replacements.

Assembled while watching a newborn and a toddler!

I am definitely a beginner when it comes to assembling. The first 3-4 steps were very challenging for me then the rest was easy! Of course at the very end I realized I’d put in 2 pieces backwards so I spent 2 hours redoing it…but that’s on me. The only frustration I had was that the pre-made holes on the doors were not in line with the hinge but close enough to skew the screw every time. My doors now wobble because the screws wont stay in tightly after too many attempts…other than that I was really impressed with the instructions and assembly!

This cabinet must have been in your warehouse since the beginning of this centruy.

Disappointed with tracks for drawers

Bottom two drawers: Had issues with the metal tracks that support the drawers. One drawer almost closes, the other is worse off (neither can be shut properly). They slide ok but they don't shut properly. The wheels work and they sit in the tracks ok but there's no closure. This is a big disappointment. Two people worked on it for several hours. We believe the product is not the of the best quality. Are they all this way? I don't think my guys want to assemble another one. Does the Portland, OR store on SE 82nd have someone who can take a look at it?

An Excellent Fit

The TV stand/cabinet needed to fit in a corner space and hold a 40" flat screen TV. The height needed to be proportional to a large wood rocking chair along one wall and the TV needed to fit under a small wall-mounted air conditioner outlet. The cabinet size fit perfectly. It's finishing matches the wood rocking chair in color and gives the appearance of quality furniture in the room. I also like the shelves and drawer arrangement.

The color of this matches my other espresso furniture perfectly. The style is great because it is not too style-specific. It coordinates with simpler lines of furniture.

Fantastic TV Stand & Better than, you get what you pay...

Fantastic TV Stand & Better than, you get what you pay for.... This TV stand is fantastic. It took a little while to put together but that's to be expected. The directions were extremely clear and even though it was time consuming, was fairly easy to put together. This unit is cheap in terms or pricing and the handles are made from extremely cheap plastic. The product came in a lot of small pieces and took a long time to put together. The product is drastically fragile. I really can't fault the product for what it is - a temporary / cheap TV stand that doesn't look too bad. Just know what you're getting in advance and don't get upset if anything above surprises you - because you get what you pay for. If you want something of higher quality, you won't be paying 10% more, you'll be paying 2-3 or more times more. This is very much more on the Ikea side of the fence than the solid wood, last-forever sort of item.

Simple yet stylish

My mother gifted this TV stand to me for my room and though it looks simple, it's really stylish. It elevated the look of my bedroom and the height it's just perfect from my queen-size bed to watch telly comfortably. I also like that it has room to store whatever you please. I will be using a couple of shelves for electronic devices, and the other 2 to store board games and books that I want to keep handy for whenever I want to use them. I will probably use one of the drawers to keep my collection of movies and decide what to do with the other one.

What I expected for the price

This TV stand is just ok. I bought it because I needed a very specific width to fit the area that I was using for the family room tv. I had already decided before it arrived that if I didn't like the cherry color. ...I could paint it. It is sturdy, took me 1 hour 45 minutes to assemble, it is heavy, and it is what I expected for the price except for three things.

Good purchase

My loft serves as my art studio and my exercise room, and it was a disorganized disaster! I ordered this piece as a starting place to get my room in order and to pull things together. I needed an inexpensive piece to hold the 46" TV, and this stand was the answer. The stand is sturdy and has plenty of shelf and drawer space to store DVD's, exercise bands and small weights. The dark color works well with the green and black color scheme of the room. Ordering and delivery was a quick and easy process with delivery right to my door. Normally, my husband assembles anything requiring assembly - but he was on a business trip when this arrived. So, I decided to go it alone, and was pleased to find it was an easy process. The instructions were easy to follow, all required nuts and bolts were included, and in about two hours I had it all put together. Because of this positive experience, I will definitely purchase other Sauder products should the need arise.

It is what it is

Finish quality is good, holes were all accurately located. Looks good. Fact is this is particle board so it isn't the most durable product in the world. Strongly recommend using wood glue for all bare wood to bare wood joints. Drawer construction is especially cheap, but serviceable. One thing that aggravates me is the plastic drawer pulls. Was it really too much to ask for metal ones? My advice is find metal pulls that match the hole spacing.

Nice Furniture For Price

We hestitated about ordering this item becsuse the tv we bought is 46", a little bit bigger than the size given for the stand. It works perfectly & is absolutely the right size for our living room. You could probably go up one more size on tje tv if you don't mind the sides hanging off the cart, something i wouldn't suggest, but would work un a pinch. As for us, it is perfect for the 46". As with other reviewers, my Dad & son found it pretty easy to assemble until they got to the drawers. They had to re-engineer a couple of things, but the work well. The color is definitely very dark brown-has some black tones. It doesn't look bad at all eith our black living room furniture, but it is not black. The nickle plated drawer handles are sleek & go with our other nickel accessories. This stand cost less than $100. If you want an elegant expensive piece of furniture, this is obviously not it. But this us a nice solid piece that looks like it is a little higher end than it is

Surprised at color.

The cinnamon cherry is actually almost black. Width is great. Depth and height are a bit short. I could've used another three inches deep and two inches tall.

Looks nice, OK value

First, the good things. It looks pretty nice once it's all put together. I was impressed by the finished look inside the drawers. It went together pretty well, it took me about 2 hours but I'm kind of slow at this. If you're good at doing these things you should be able to do it in less than an hour. It seem very sturdy and it's quite heavy. It's packed really well and was in very good condition when I opened the box.

Sauder TV Stand (espresso)

I received the TV stand in only 3 days at my home. It was really well packaged with additional padding around sides & corners of box. No chips or cracks on anything. All hardware was there. I even got a few additional screws & nails. Yes, the handles on the drawers were just plastic so I did replace them with nice pewter ones with the money I saved on the stand. It is really sturdy & heavy. Well made. It did take a couple hours to put together by myself but the instructions were impeccable & very easy to follow. They also have a website visual tutorial if needed. I am extremely happy with my purchase & everyone that has seen it thinks it's a much more expensive piece of furniture. Definitely worth the money & the time it takes to put it together. I have a 40 inch flat screen on mine & it fits just perfectly. Plenty of room for any electronics you might connect to your TV & the drawers are quite roomy for storage. Great color, same as was pictured.

Perfect for a 47

The Sauder was perfect when it was completed and assembled. The process however, was painful. PAINFUL.

Good for what it is

This tv stand is a good purchase for someone looking for a short-term, inexpensive storage solution. It fits our 40" flat screen with plenty of space. The four upper shelves are great for components and wiring. The lower drawers do not open and close easily, but are fine for not frequently accessed items like DVDs or manuals, etc. The piece is neutral stylistically, and makes a nice effect in the room. It is, however, relatively difficult to put to together. I have an 18 month old, so I am quite familiar with putting together furniture (she can say cam lock). This was about a 5 hour project. As expected with the dark finish, it scratches very easily, so put down a clean towel if assembling on a hard surface. As for it's construction/durability, I do not imagine that it will survive more than one or two moves. All that is to say that this is an inexpensive piece that will serve our needs well for a couple of years, then it will be on the curb. If that is what you are looking for, and you have the patience and time for assembly, would definitely recommend.
