This product was very poor quality. The holes didn't line up and with this type of furniture it leaves no room for adjustments. There were parts missing as well but with it being flimsy and wobbling I decided to return. This by no means reflects bad upon Walmart but the Sauder brand. I still adore Walmart!!

Weak material and construction

I bought it a week ago. The engineering wood used in this model is easily damaged. The bookcase consists of two two big and heavy parts that are just slightly connected by four small cam screw. The bookcase is easy assembled in horizontal position. When I tried to put it to vertical position, the bookcase has been disassembled into two parts and broken at the cam places. To avoid it, use a lot of epoxy glue to connect parts.

Rather than purchase one large bookcase wall/storage, I purchased three of these units. They look great pushed together side-by-side. We placed our printer on the center shelf and had plenty of storage space below for paper, envelopes, and other supplies.

I purchased the heritage's collection and the bookshelf is so beautiful but I did not put it together so it was very easy for me

FISHY Odor /Cheap material

The cheap particle board smells so fishy and stinks up the entire room! Very difficult for me to put together and is still unassembled.

The finish chipped the first time I put a binder on it.

I am not pleased with the white dings that happened on day one. Can you please send touch up paint?

Buyer Beware

Poor quality. Pieces not aligning. Bought two units and on one the shelves would not fit. I had to force them so they will never be able to be adjustable. No extra nails or screws, so don’t lose any! I have put together many pieces of furniture these library units were the worst as far as everything aligning. I had to move a facing board on a shelf so the doors would close. I sweat bullets in this one!

Thc company said my item was delivered but not. I never recived the bookcase. Very disappointed.

I really love these shelves!

I purchased a set of these shelves years ago and loved them so much I ordered another set to add more books to my collection. I love the professional look of these shelves as well as the cherry finish. They are good quality and not too hard to put together.

Good for what I needed

I bought this as it matches 2 existing open bookcases in my home. Love it for that reason as it really completes the area. However assembly is a nightmare. The screws don't go in easily and for some parts one should be a contortionist.

Assembly is Difficult & Time Consuming

I bought two of the Library with Doors. The cherry furniture looks beautiful and rich looking in my condo. I hired a handyman to assemble both pieces of furniture. It took him several hours and needed an extra hand to hold boards in place while screwing them in place. The backboard is nothing more than painted cardboard. It seems the company could do so much better in this regard. While I found the price to be attractive, when you add the labor cost to assemble, it wasn't a good find!
