Disappointed

Very disappointed in quality of product . Had read reviews on other sites that rated this product as very good. Shoddy construction with holes for the filter screen misaligned and with spots where the plastic was not smooth. Hopefully the faucet doesn’t leak as it can’t screw all the way in because of a couple of these plastic “drips”. I believe that this must be a “factory second” to explain the differences in other review.

Rain barrel had long cut mark on bottom from one end of corner all the way over to the next corner

Description is misleading.

This review is in no way regarding Walmart but Good Ideas who is no longer owned by Good Ideas. I ordered 2 of these rain barrels at the same time. One came with a spigot on the front bottom and one on the top side. The other only had a front bottom which is not conducive to my use. I contacted Walmart 3 times about this issue and the same incorrect rain barrel was mailed. I finally contacted "Good Ideas" "customer service" who only made excuses, one being the Eco line is recycled and doesn't come with an upper side spigot. No where on the item description does it say there is only a front spigot. I was then told to purchase another one. I explained I already have 11 rain barrels, all of which are made correctly, and I didn't need another. Also, the descriptions says, "Self-draining planter top". This is not true. There was no resolution and the CSR kept repeating herself to add to my frustration.

Great rain savernfor medium downflow

This medium sized rain vault is easy to assemble and easy to place. The spigot is low enough to the ground that this rain vault will likely need to be elevated to allow hose attachment. If your water downflow is heavy, this vault may overflow if not at least partially drained occasionally, so be choosey as to what is placed in the planter, that is not averse to soggy soil from time to time.

Poor quality and craftmanship. The company must not have quality control as holes drilled to hold filter were not aligned. Filter was torn.

Leaked

Leaked. Had to caulk around the spigot as it was glued poorly and leaked water terrible.

[Rewarded Review] Good product

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Looks nice. Showed up fast. I added a couple holes to the track to make it drain faster, with the screen in it doesn't drain as fast as the water comes out of the downspout.
