Love It!

Of course we look at other makes of nonstick pans, but we consider reputation, cost, ethics of the manufacturer, environmental sustainability, and so on. We predominantly use Scanpan for our nonstick pans. The surface lasts really well, the handles can withstand up to 200 C in the oven, the metal is substantial and holds the heat very well, the pan is comfortable to lift (dealing with arthritis, so it’s important), and while we hand wash our nonstick pans, they can go into a dishwasher. The walls of the pan are steep enough to cook something like a fricasee or do a quick stir fry, but not so deep as to stop us cooking pancakes or omelettes in it. We love these pans.

CLASSIC 10.25'' Fry Pan

The best Non-Stick pan I have ever had; the coating never flakes off even if you use metal utensils, this is my second one in 10 years of continuous use and it still does not have any scratches on it! The old pan is the one that has texture on the bottom, and not a scratch in site!

CLASSIC 8'' Fry Pan

simply the perfect pan for eggs in the morning or an omelet for 2. Have used this pan for at least 20 years - I replace it every 8 years or so so well worth the cost. This will be my 3rd one- cant wait to start using it. I also have the larger 12 inch pan which is not used as much so no need to replace, but that is the one I use when I am feeding 4 or more. 12 inch is perfect for frying up bacon or pan frying/ sauteing chicken or steak for a fast meal for husband and me.

Love Scanpan Classic range

Love this frypan, it is a good size and I purchased a lid to fit. I make the German side dish spaetzle which requires saute in butter and the lid puffs them up deliciously. Husband loves it.

Best little fry pan ever.

Fantastic little fry pan. I ordered this pan specifically because I have an induction stove top. It’s used several times a week. Perfect for scrambling a few eggs, sauteeing an onion,

20cm too small sadly - re-ordered to perfection- 20/10. :-)

This frying pan was returned/replaced, as it was discovered to be too shallow for cooking multiple things we cook in our household - asking for too much over flow/spitting/ messy stoves. It was just a shame the 20cm frypan wasn’t 2-3cm deeper, otherwise things may have reconsidered.
