Rust spots

Knifes are sharp but after only a couple uses the knifes started to get rust spots on them

My first impression of the block set was beautiful. However over time the knives that are used often are rusting. Is this common?

Beautiful knife set

Love these knives but had to give it 4 stars because my 4” paring knife broke when i dropped it on my tile floor. The blade broke completely off from the handle. Very sad because I used this knife often.

Brand New Knives Showing Oxidation

This is my second set of this exact Schmidt Brothers knife set. Unfortunately, my first set was stolen in a burglary of my storage unit while I was moving from one state to another. I loved this set so much, I had to replace it. Sadly, I have only had this set for a couple of months and the 2 of the knifes are already showing signs of oxidation.

Great Knives that cut well but get rust pits...

I ordered these knives about 2 months ago...Absolutely beautiful in my kitchen and cut so well I already nicked myself with one of the knives. When I hand washed the first knife I noticed when drying it started to get these rust spots on it. I was surprised as they were "hand washed" in a mild dishwashing liquid. I tried to use a rust coil sponge to remove the spots and it did help some. I assumed it was just that knife that had the issue. Unfortunately every knife I used thereafter did the same thing. I called CB and they are going to send me a replacement. I'm hoping the new set will not have these problems bc they are beautiful and very sharp!

All knives have rust marks.

I think I received an off batch

I purchased these in September and I only hand wash them and dry them immediately after use and I have several that appear to be rusting? A few of the knives were not as sharp as I expected. I’m not sure if I received an off batch but I’m kind of disappointed since they weren’t cheap. I read raving reviews before purchasing

Two knives rusted after one month of use, washed twice BY HAND

Sad to see this amazing set of knives rust right before my eyes only after having purchased them less than a month ago. Used twice so far, washed by hand with Dial soap and water, properly dried and rust all over to of the knives so far. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure what to do, really bummed out about this.

Great Knives!

I got these knives for my husband for his birthday, and they have been a wonderful addition to our kitchen! The block takes up minimal space on our counter and the knives have been making food prep extremely enjoyable! I would definitely recommend!
