Perfect for what it is

This is easy to assemble and very attractive. I keep it in my screened porch so that shoes don't come inside. The bench is sturdy enough for me and the girls to sit on, but I would be wary of my 250lb. husband to sit on it. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

If your looking for a shoe storage bench do not hesitate to purchase this one. It looks exactly as shown. It purchased to go in my mud room but it was to big to fit the space so it is now in a different area than planned but still works out. My kids place more than their shoes and even would stand on it. The quality has held up nicely

Nice, sturdy, well made shoe storage bench.

I liked the size and style of this shoe storage bench I bought two. One for the mudroom and one for the garage. It comes in many colors. It is the perfect size to sit on to take off or put on your shoes or boots. Very sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble with clear directions. The picture on the website accurately represents the benches. I recommend these!

Overpriced Cheap Chinese Shoe Holder

Bought this shoe rack in sea foam color for our sunroom. I will say it was easy to assemble for the most part although the holes did not line up perfectly, it was easy to manipulate the pieces together. That being said the materials are overall very cheap quality and not ideal for adults to sit on, which is disappointing because this is supposed to function as a bench as well, not just a shoe rack. Overall the bench looks great in our sunroom, it’s just not very functional. The quality is not in line with the price and it is not fully functional so I could only give it three stars.

Solid

This bench is as described. 20-30 minutes assembly/-all predrilled holes lined up well. Nice paint job ( gray) in my mostly-white hallway. The bench seems a little narrow—if I were a 200-lb person (I’m not!), I might hesitate to sit at first. But it seems as though it would be strong enough—just not visually deep for a large person. Nevertheless, I love it! My heavy friends will just have to trust my sturdiness evaluation.

Overpriced!

Totally not worth the price being charged by FH. Shipping was really expensive too. Purchased this as an entryway bench for storing shoes and sitting on while putting on shoes. While the bench is cute, it's very light and doesn't seem like it would hold up to daily use by adults. The slats on the top of the bench which are glued on had already come off in the shipping box. It's more decorative than actually usable. I'll probably use it on our porch for plants.

We tended to have shoes scattered near the small entryway to our house. Organization was needed! We needed something of a certain size to fill that need. I found this lovely storage bench that also served as a place to sit down to put our shoes on, as we headed out the door. This bench is very well constructed, and looks far more expensive than it was. It fits a limited space, while providing the function we needed. I would recommend this to anyone with a similar need.

So very easy to put together, I was able to do it while dinner cooked in the oven. Directions where easy and everything matched up perfectly. However, this bench is small! It's best for a small apartment or for a kids area. We got it for our side entry way that we don't use often but occasionally need somewhere to change shoes. It's a bit too small to look good but will add a umbrella rack to the side or something so that it fills in better. It will definitely serve it's purpose though.

It was very easy to assemble and the color is exactly as depicted online. I actually ordered it to use as a TV stand in a bedroom instead of as a sit down bench. It's the perfect height for a mattress that's on a platform. If it were a box spring mattress, it probably would be too low, but looks really nice and the shelves work perfectly to store blankets, remotes, etc. Some reviews complained about the condition it was shipped in, but there were no marks on the bench I received. It came well wrapped and was easy to get up flights of stairs. Overall, would recommend if you're just looking for a compact storage shelf or a lower TV stand.

I'd been reading reviews from people who are saying the slats break off easily, but decided to risk it - it was on sale, and the majority of reviews are 5 stars. Unluckily for me, this bench ARRIVED BROKEN today. One of the slats on the end had broken off before I even took it out of the box. The slat next to it is also very, very loose. After briefly debating returning it, I decided that it probably wasn't worth the hassle and put the bench together anyway. My Plan A is to hot glue the broken slat back in place (it's not cracked or anything, it's just not attached to the bench). If that doesn't work, I have a somewhat foolish dog who falls off of my couch 12x/day trying to look out of the window. The bench fits perfectly in the gap between my couch and the window. It's not what I intended to do with it, but my Plan B is to stick a dog bed on it and give my dog an elevated new sleeping space (with a view!) while simultaneously making it impossible for him to fall off the couch. Lucky him.
